Never tried a companion game before, and the surprise is real. As the game allows you to place the game window anywhere you want on your screen(s?), it fits any place you'r confortable with, then here you go. First hours will ask you to act and follow more closely what happen on your screen. You learn the basics, understand how to collect and gather stars, how to make constellation with the stars gathered, or to sell them to progress through the quite numerous upgrades the game is proposing. After reaching a few upgrades, your howls (scouts) will be more reactive as well as your clicks on targets, and you suddently realize that the game is running on its own. From now, you will only need to click from time to time, or think about what kind of constellation you want to create, or at least try. It's really relaxing, the music is quite helping too. The pixel art works well, not too many details but well made enough to understand what's what. You never felt punish by missing a star or creating a constellation. The customization part is funny and packed enough to have your own experience looking the way you want. The split alert system allows you to keep focusing on what you do and only giving an eye on the companion screen when's necessary. For the price, if you want to raise your head from your phone while still working efficiently at home, or simply have the game running on the back while doing other stuff, I can't recommand it enough! Dreaming nevel felt that good without sleeping.

Very cool, although requires some time to become "idle" (I had to get at least a few costly upgrades). I LOVE the gimmick of building constellations, because they're based on actual ones - you can use a star map, look up shapes online or use the knowledge you already have to unlock them. I also love that it's owls who go out to grab the stars for you 🦉💛 Having said that, shape recognition seems a little wonky. I'm having trouble unlocking my last 3-star shape using a guide - it's the Triangulum and I keep getting Hydra, Octans, or none. Could be glitch, or I could be dumb. We'll see. This game is reminiscent of Cornerpond, including the pixely style, menus, areas and the ranking system of your unlockables. I'm not sure if they're based on something else yet but the formula is there and it works. (This is only an observation and not a negative remark. This is more to say that if you enjoyed one, you might enjoy the other).

Not sure how this is supposed to be enjoyable. Very little "idle" about this idler. 0/5 - Correctly label your game and that will probably help a good bit with your reviews. People do not enjoy feeling deceived.

a really cosy game with no losing or failing, only discovery and contemplation. it's perfect for newcomers to video games like I am. can't wait to see more stars!

I really enjoyed this game. It’s very calm and soothing. A few clicks here and there while I’m working on my computer, it’s very pleasant. The music is wonderful. The game’s system is good, and the idea of the constellations is original. I highly recommend this game, it soothes the mind during a short break in the middle of a workday.

I'm usually not playing idle games, so I'm definitely no expert, but I had a great time with Spacenap! It's a chill little idler with a cute art style, a relaxing soundtrack, and a unique docking option, allowing it to sit anywhere on your screen while you're working or doing anything else. At first, I was confused with how 'active' the game is. You have to click quite a lot until you unlock a bunch of automation upgrades that gradually make your life less and less clicky. After a few hours, you lil' helpers will do most of the heavy lifting, and you can use the smart alert system to stay on top of things. It ends up striking a good balance between being a pure idle game, and still keeping you engaged.
