You alone are responsible for the maintenance of a space station. If you were looking for a non platform defense game in VR, you found it in this fast paced “space station explosion simulator”. How hard can it be to push some buttons, eh? (The Loma sector has Tribbles)

Quick Review: Good Introduction to VR game play and physics. Very easy to start. If you enjoy follow the leader type games this is a game for you. Should be a $5 game. Review: Simple to learn but gets chaotic very fast. You basically are following commands given to you on the main screen. They are timed and you need to do them very quickly. I am old and slow...which means I suck at the game. Has a leader board for keeping track of high scores, which can make it interesting if you have friends competing with each other. I think it is a good game for people who are being introduced to VR / gaming. If you are looking for something more long term with complexity this is not the game for you. gues again when you think it looks simple to control this space station the instructions are given to you by a computer in front of you, everything goes easy but then u suddenly realise that the computer is acting and that it is messing with you, its up to you to be faster and wiser good luck! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tt8zZgV1lvM
Space Station Loma: OPERATIONS - Simon says “don't blow up the darn space station!”
The concept behind this game is simple, you are the operations guy on a space station, you know the people you see in the background of the bridge on deep space 9? The guys sitting at terminals in the background of the death star. And the computer tells you what to do. It starts off easy...really easy….you think “i can do this”, “I am THE operator” and soon learn that the computer is mean and has it in for you lol ROOMSCALE / ENVIRONMENT The environments are very nice, i liked that if you were doing bad you could see stuff floating out past the ops window. The lobby is made very nicely and i like the way the credits are displayed on the wall (would be good to get the leaderboards up on there too, hint hint nudge nudge) The main game room had some cool effects, from mood lighting when the station is critical to flames and smoke when you messed up. GRAPHICS Not amazing but spot on for this type of game, certainly not bad. The buttons were a bit blandly designed but that is my only real criticism and it is such a minor point i almost deleted this line. PERFORMANCE The game ran at 90fps with out issue (and given i was streaming at the same time that is no mean feat) I did lose tracking once but suspect that was a hiccup with my system and not the game. However i did encounter a couple of frustrating bugs,

The levers were annoying to set in the exact place they needed to be, i would suggest the addition of haptic feedback to make them click into place as they pass each number and a bigger sweet spot for each position.
There were times the buttons did not seem to press, this is bad when things are hectic and worse at times the buttons seemed to double press which caused damage ingame. I have no suggestions for a fix for this.
i accidently hit the table height changer a couple of times and the table decided it wanted to leave, its people needed it and it rose majestically towards the ceiling. Easy fix, move the height changers to the other side of the table where they are less likely to be jostled accidently or use the grip buttons for grabbing the table and raising it as they are less likely to be hit accidentally.
Remember though at the time of this review the game is early access so these issues can be fixed INTUITIVENESS Having already seens someone play it on youtube my impression of initial intuitiveness may be a little off but i found it to be very easy to grasp, there is a tutorial level which is basically the help system with time stopped (that could be clearer to get out off) and you can pick up the game very fast. MULTIPLAYER: There is an option in the lobby to start a local multiplayer server, I did not try this myself so i shall just mention its existence. PROS:

Good atmosphere.
Great work out.
Really addictive (very much a “just one more try” game)
Game is a lot of fun till you get to higher levels.
Active developer.
CONS: ignoring the early access bugs

If you are old (like me) then do not expect to get far until it is too fast for you.
A bit on the pricy side for the content.
The first try video: This was recorded Live on twitch and is my first try video enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGt_hZtZkVw VERDICT I do recommend it, although it is priced a little higher than perhaps it should be. Why? Because i kept wanting to have one more try, if i did not have neighbours and it was not 4 am i would load it up again, i can beat my score…. I know i can, that sort of game is worth adding to your list and it is a hell of a lot more fun for exercising then say jumping jacks or sit ups :).

A weird game. Not for 2020.
