Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 11 → 0.83/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I enjoyed my time with Space Prison, I'm kinda disappointed that there isn't any additional content for it on the way, but I guess that is just me being too used to games that arrive in an semi-incomplete state. Anyway the Pros and Cons Pros: -The Artstyle is pretty good, little details and movements really compliment the overall environment -The personal quest (at least the ones I completed) were written decently and had a good variety in theming -The combat system is simple enough to get into and does not overwhelm with information -Con -Durability being tied to combat encounter and not to use is genuinely insane, I had fights in which my character did not even fight and his weapon and armor degraded -Inventory slots are kind of limited and I get you're in prison but come one juggling items everytime I try to got anywhere gets old fast and those secret stashes are not it especially if you're not able to check it's inventory from your cell -Getting anywhere is a hassle you have to make up your mind before you leave the cellblock, you can get to 2 location as long as the in between consist of two encounters (I rarely used the teleporter as fight earn you money and loot obviously) And lastly something I couldn't put in either category The Companions -The humanoid party members kinda suck with there one day restriction as the only benefit they have is their larger health pool (I solely talk about the other gang members as I never hired thugs, it just wasn't worth the money in my opinion) -Drones and rats are far superior as fighting buddies, the drones have large utility potential with their modules and stuff also the damage they can deal can quickly overshadow that of the prisoner especially if you stack the Wound debuff, as for rats the access to the different kind of rats plus the upgrades you can give them make them so much more useful All in all I had fun with this game, despite some flaws my enjoyment never took the backseat. It's simple, it looks good, has really good humour and does not overstay it's welcome. ALSO THE POSTERS ARE PURE GOLD!

I really want to like this game, but the combat is so basic and underwhelming. The sound design could use a bit of work; it lacks a certain punch to it that makes every hit feel empty. The concepts are interesting, like recruiting rats and gang members, but you're telling me in a massive prison there's only two gangs? There's also only three races to pick from, so there just isn't much variety. The art style is very nice, however. I just wish the game had a bit more to it.
This isn't a bad game, but it's not worth the price. It's just another in a long line of games that get released today that are shiny looking, and give the perception of involved and deep mechanics, but are ultimately very surface level and unsatisfying. The premise is great, and if the developers took another two years to flesh out the world, its interactions, its factions, and its combat, this could be an awesome game. As it is, everything is kind of thin. It's the kind of game you get excited about in the first 30 minutes, and then three hours later you realise there's really not much to it.
This is not an RPG; this is just a clicker with annoying food/hope mechanics. It's more of a survival game. Battles are plain as hell. Art is good, though, but the loop is boring.
A bit on the fence for this one. I suppose it's a decent pick-up when on sale if you enjoy this genre. I like the premise of the game (i.e. being stuck in a space prison) but so many elements of the game could have been much better. For example, the combat system is really simple and lacking in depth. If only they did more with the variety of skills your character can have / acquire and the way combat works. Also, once you get access to the stun baton, there's no longer any challenge as it's so overpowered. Feels like a chore mid to late game. The world also doesn't feel immersive. For the most part, the prisoners sound like your next door neighbour instead of criminals. Quests are also very simple and lack any real urgency. Overall, I would rate the game a 6.5/10. I did complete it but unlikely to play again.
Has some nifty ideas and concepts, though the game is very basic at the end of the day. Once you've done a few days in game you've basically seen all the game has to offer as far as gameplay goes; you get 8 hours every day to do what you want, which are usually spent traveling from one hub to the next. You'll be balancing keeping your health, hunger, and hope up while leveling up your equipment, stations, and rising in the ranks of your chosen gang. I'll get the negative out of the way first. Inventory management has some really neat ideas, namely the contraband system where items with a yellow background are confiscated if you're caught with them in your inventory. You can hide a few items in secret pockets, but the rest will be seen by guards and sensors. This is fine, the only trouble is the storage you do get in the game is woefully inadequate. Your main storage in your cell doesn't offer you much room to keep items, even in the mid game you will find yourself running out of space to keep your stuff and a lot of resource based quests are time sensitive, so you end up hording everything without many uses for them. You can make secret stashes in certain facilities, but even these can only hold 4 items at a time and you still have to deal with sensors and guards for the contraband issue. I feel it would've been better if items were more precious in the game, my inventory and storage is overflowing with stuff and I have no real way of getting rid of the useless stuff anymore. The rest of the game is pretty easy and straight forward. The only enemies that really give me any trouble are the guards who have powerful attacks that bypass your armor and have a good chance to stun you, and even if they don't stun they block a random skill from being used for at least 1 turn. Other than that every fight has been really one sided and easy, I rarely even have to heal my character. The part of the game I enjoy the most by far is earning the loyalty of fellow gang members and rising up the ranks. Each gang member requires you to complete their quest chain, some need you to complete an investigation into the corruption of the prison, others need your help getting them a job in the prison, etc. None of them are particularly deep, but it's the fun of seeing them grow comfortable with you and getting them as permanent party members as you go that's so rewarding. Beating a higher ranked gang member in a fight earns you their spot and they're knocked down to your previous rank. The idea is to become the boss of your gang and take over the prison. The most unique part of the game imo is how "respawning" works. Every prisoner is equipped with a collar that captures their consciousness when they die, and are placed onto a new body when the old one dies. So narratively, you can't just get killed to escape your sentence, you'll just be placed in a new body. My character died after having to fight three guards in a row, and I was placed in a new alien body and I had to get all my old stuff from the morgue. It's neat, though not thoroughly explored in game. Overall this is a solid 7/10 for me. It's surprisingly chill for the setting it has and you have a lot of control over your life in the game, but I'm enjoying what's here. I'd get it on sale or at least try the demo to see if you like it. You don't get to explore the gang life in the demo, but you get the gist of the gameplay.
While decent gameplay wise it lacks the narrative synergy of feeling like your in a prison. Low inventory space means there is a lot of running back and forth, but it's not a large hurdle if you don't hoard and learn what purpose items have. Loved the rats, Trix for life.
