Game description key-points: looks simplistically fine, only the the storyline might worth something Overview: a medium quality RPG time burner, runs and looks smooth, as part of a longer series it explains it`s decent quest contents.

Well, if you are here, then you have most likely already played at least Years one and two, and probably also the whole Space Pilgrim Saga. If not, do so now, otherwise the plot of this game won't make any sense. For everybody who has played those games and enjoyed it, this is a must have. Year three continues the story from years one and two and is equally as good as them. The riddles aren't difficult, but the plot speeds up and you even gain insights into characters who you have already known for six games. Totally worth it and you get a lot of content for the price ( I took around 5.5 hours but I am a very slow player and examine everything, so its more like 3.5 to 4 hours for the average gamer).

Space Pilgrim Academy Year 3 is a story driven game, where most of the gameplay comes from puzzle to solve (think about it as a point and click adventure in a top down RPG view). Overall the game takes from its prequels Year 1 and Year 2, with Margaret Dale and Gail Pilgrim. This time, you get to have a bit more liberty to explore something that is outside the academy, and some graphics got changed. The music is also a bit different and have some really cool new tunes. I personally liked the game and I spent around 6 to 7 hours to 100% complete it with all achievements (this time, there are much less than any of the other games). It's a pretty easy game with a fun sci-fi story, so I would recommend it to anyone that loves story before gameplay. The seventh Space Pilgrim chapter. Both Gail and Maggie's stories are developed further in alternating scenes. While it starts at the Academy as do the last two chapters, this has less focus on Maggie's classes. There is a spaceport, a museum and two new ships to explore throughout the course of this chapter as well as another secret location. Lots of character development, with Diane Romero and others becoming more central to the plot. Honestly I think if this series was redone with more sophisticated graphics it would be extremely popular. The story is first rate and the world is highly detailed. If you are thinking of starting this series, play the first game (which is free now iirc), and if it makes you curious, try out the next chapter. A great sci fi series, with a relatively easy point and click gameplay.

Another great adventure game from Pilgrim Adventures. It shows that good writing can overcome everything including using RPG Maker.

Please don't misunderstand my "thumbs down" for thi game. I actually love the Space Pilgrim Series and have played it several times over, It's just that this episode is seriously sub-par. Where Pilgrim was enjoyable point-and-click before, this is just going from cut sene to extensive cutscene. While the charaters are still enjoyable, the attempt at removing running around in favor of accelerated storytelling fails utterly. To top that of, the game - unlike its predecessors - is somewhat unstable. Having to reload, because the game crashed after 10 minutes of cutscene, and having to do it all over is not much fun. Again, great series, but please stop the misimprovements.
