its not bad but it iS a long grinder with quite a bit of time wasted awaiting more quests. not even close to as fluent in gameplay as the original. the concept is there and aside from the fact that fuelling the ships requires credits, as the resources are scarce enough to never be enough, and credits missions being bloody rare and barely enough to cover the fuel cost, i would say this is an ok game. if you can hang around long enough after the squeeze of scraping by at the start, enough to put many players off (other devs tease you in, these clearly decided to squeeze players out instead....odd choice), this develops into a fine time sink. unfortunately for me, nothing was explained right from the tutorial and my builds were wasted so have to start again, and THAT is not nearly as fun an introduction (as already mentioned) to this game as these devs seem to think. once you get your head around the build mechanics and what builds to put where and just how long and grindy getting them is, switch to slot 2 and start again, otherwise you unlock to much during research and quests dry up. early quest rewards really need tweaking to give creds as well as research points or the tutorial needs NOT waste 6k coins on a ship captain you dont actually need yet. don't know anything about the DLC as it all looks way over-priced for 2 decade old graphics games. i may be an a-hole but im not gaping or rocking so few brain cells its a 'yes' but only by the skin of it's teeth

feels like a mobile game
This looks like a mobile game and worse the hand holding introduction is broken soft locking the game. So i would strongly not recommend this game.
So far it appears your crew can't be injured, which I like, Your ship will take the damage instead. I like the game.
Pretty lame game. I tried to find a story to follow at in the game but no, there is no real content in the game why this could be recommended to anyone... just research - craft - gather for no goals to achieve something.
