very good game , no P2w at all . I recommend
Yep, darkorbit but somehow even more grindy, full of people that have no life and grind this all day EVERY day, you will be constantly harassed and you CAN'T do anything about it unless you're willing to sink a few hundred bucks into this game. P2W slop preying on nostalgia
Dont waste your time and money playing this game. You will get banned for no reason, without evidence after you pay for some skins an premium

dark orbit nur ohne p2w. Macht bock!
Don't waste your money
If you left DarkOrbit because of the bots, the autolock, the pay-to-win mess... bad news: you'll find all of it here, except worse. The cheating is real and nobody hides it. Bots and autolock are everywhere. Players don't even bother hiding it anymore, that's how comfortable they feel. And when you actually report someone, here is what happens:

You open a ticket on Discord and it can sit there for weeks with zero answer.
When you say a player is cheating, the admins basically call you a liar.
You provide a video with the cheating laid out clearly, proof from A to Z... and the ticket gets closed with no follow-up.

Why?
Because the cheaters are the big spenders. Premium, multi-boxing, all of it. Banning them means losing money, so of course nothing happens. The honest players are the ones who get ignored.

It's a shame, because I was actually enjoying it at first. But that was only at the very beginning. The longer you play, the clearer it gets that the devs don't care about the people keeping the game alive. Save your money.
You spend money on ships that are advertised with abilities when you buy them you do not get these you have to farm end game content to enable them. Lootbxes are in PVP maps and as a new player you are just hunted and killed you cant open loot boxes....and then the rolls on these boxes that you do open are really bad you end up getting ammo......so yeah no idea why you want to play a game where you cannot fight anybody but if you dont you dont get better gear. Really a strange game.
After reading some of the negative reviews, I expected a much worse experience. Instead, I found a fun space MMO with a lot of potential. Many complaints seem to come from players expecting a perfectly balanced experience, but this is an open PvP MMORPG. In games like this, veteran players will always have an advantage over newer players. I've also seen people calling the game unplayable because of bugs. The game is still relatively new, and some of the issues mentioned in older reviews have already been fixed by the developers. Is the game perfect? No. Does it still need improvements? Absolutely. But calling it "unplayable" feels unfair. I've enjoyed my time so far and I'm looking forward to seeing how the game develops.
Get treated unfairly by people in charge of the game and threatened with bans .Chat bans for nothing while people fly around in game with racist names and clan names. Buggy quests you cant finish and constant server restarts. Unfair balance in the game. Plus you still have botters like on dark orbit. No point playing realy so dont waste your time thinking its somthing different.
Space Aces has a lot of potential as a concept, but unfortunately the execution and ongoing management fall far short of what the game could be. It often feels like a heavily inspired or partially copied idea that could actually turn into something great, but the developers are not able to properly maintain it or address the issues that players consistently report. Instead of fixing problems or engaging with feedback, tickets are frequently closed without real resolution, and concerns are effectively ignored. The biggest issue, however, is the lack of responsiveness to the community. Player feedback does not seem to be taken seriously, which makes it feel like the game is being developed in isolation rather than with its player base in mind. On top of that, fairness within the game is questionable. There is a strong feeling that friends or acquaintances are sometimes given preferential treatment, which leads to an imbalance and a sense of favoritism that damages the overall experience. In its current state, Space Aces is frustrating because it could be something really good, but the way it is being handled prevents it from reaching that potential.
Darkorbit, but developed with love and care.
