Sovereignty: Crown of Kings is a mid-range grand strategy game. There is an abundant amount of nations you can choose from with its own diverse culture/race. However, depending on what nation you choose, you can end with a bug during your campaign and the game crashing on you. The developer has abandoned this game and in this current state I cannot recommend this game.
This is a somewhat unfinished grand military strategy game with a fantasy theme. Upgrade your territories, amass your armies, fight and conquer your enemies and seize their territories. The main map gameplay is very stock standard kind of resource management/army building stuff, you also can hire heroes to lead your armies. The combat side of things is lacklustre, just icons with health bars. A lot of work went into designing all the factions and troops and things, and that is thematically really cool, but the game implementation lets it down. Also to remember this is Steam, there's tens of thousands of games. This game doesn't exist in a vacuum. Slitherine are charging an insane $36 for this, well into AAA pricing territory, but it feels like a < $5 game. You can get Total War: Warhammer for less, and that's an insanely great military strategy game. I feel bad because there's elements of this game that showed some promise, but reviews are for the gamers, and I can't recommend this game to other gamers.

This was one of the coolest concepts for a strategy game i have ever seen, the world was fairly fleshed out for a project by a small team, the mechanics were simple enough yet engaging, it's a real shame support was completely discontinued.
In memento to this game's final days: It has bugs left in, some logic errors if things are executed in the wrong order in campaigns and it has its problems with some AI, but it is a great strategy game. A few features would have benefitted its life cycle and some QoL additions. Now it will vanish for all but us who own and if you consider hex strategy games, final sale or no, missing out on this may be a bad idea. If you really had interest in it, get it now or maybe regret it, doomsday sale or not.
Well Game is clearly unfinished and though it has great general idea behind it and great operational lvl battels it certainly lacks depth And second even worse thing is the fact that it ias buggy like all hells combined and 3h of gameplay without a crash are unpresedented. A pity that such a great conceept wasnt given enough time to polish 9 it should spend at least 6 months more in developement)
Has lots of potential, very incomplete and bug ridden. Seems abandoned.....Very sad.
Its not a bad game. Slight learning curve and takes awhile to get used to. Sometimes I feel like the AI won't attack, but it might be part of a long term plan to keep my units from healing up without losing theirs. BUT THE GAME CRASHES TOOOO MUCH. I have 10 hours of play time and more than 10 crashes. I don't even know if I will finish a play through.
On average this game crashes every ten minutes or so, wildly frustrating. Reinstalled it and verified files several times and neither worked. I've checked forums for fixes and nothing works. I cant recommend anyone purchase a broken game.
Game crashes every 15 mins
