South of Midnight

Loved this game. The stop-motion like graphics are gorgeous, music is amazing, especially the run up to boss battles. I loved the story and the lore, it's unlike anything I had played or read before. The overall game is a bit short, but pacing is good and it makes for an overall very satisfying experience. Real life can get busy, so I appreciate a game I can get through and enjoy without having to sink months into it. Combat may be its weakest point, but playing in balanced difficulty is easy enough to get through, without becoming frustrating. Overall a very kind and pleasant game, would definitely recommend

The graphics are amazing, the art, the music and story all weave together for an amazing gaming experience. This is the sort of game my heart has yearned for, for decades. The beauty and mastery and heart put into this game are spectacular. If you've been waiting for story driven and beautiful gaming, this is for sure for you!

Got hooked with the southern US lore executed beautifully. Awesome art, animation, and music to tell a heartfelt story. The game has just the perfect length for the gameplay not to feel repetitive. I recommend higher difficulties for veteran players. Love it.

Great game. Very fun and love the art

This game is a work of art. Its visuals, voice acting, and music are superb. There were times that the combat was repetitive but the difficulty scaling was enough that I was sweating a bit at times. The story is a masterpiece. It is the first game Ive played where the main character is a poc and the story is deeply ingrained in race and the black experience in America. The themes of intergenerational trauma and learing that your mother is a person with pain and feelings is so raw and beautiful. One of the best games to come out in a long time.

Muy buen juego, entretenido, no esta mal si quieres parar un poco de los juego muy largos, la historia esta ok nada del otro mundo pero, interesante. Personalmente me encantan los graficos, ese estilo tipo acuarela - plastilina. 7/10

The story is great and the music is amazing. I read some reviews where people said the combat felt repetitive and I get what they mean. It can become a little predictable, but you can change the difficulty if you want to challenge yourself more. Totally recommend this game.
