it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broke my vr textures and i had to reboot to a past update to fix it
eh it's free but i wouldn't really keep it after seeing it once it's kinda like windows media player music visualizer vs milkdrop or something yeah, its cool, its fun to watch. I specifically got it for the GRiZ "show" after having seen this advertised on reddit a couple times its hard to explain but it feels really slapped together, like its too overloaded with visuals at once (this is coming from a psychonaut) and the all sorta just blends where itd be cooler if things changed up, lots of things dont feel like timed to the music because it just looks like its pulsating on a preset timer. griz's album just plays on a bunch of large screens in the environment like its just streaming from youtube idk its cool, my wife is a big GRiZ fan like I am and she liked it, but like The Wave VR was more specialized I felt, and the raves in VRchat and stuff are way cooler as far as trippy visuals to music go I cant really recommend sorry |:
I just struggled to figure out how to utilize the music portion this but the worlds were wicked cool
Doesn't work with WMR (HP Reverb G2), just a black screen
UPDATE 2: forget what I said below. Still dropping below 20fps at times. There's just no stability here. UPDATE: Upgraded to a 4080 and a 5800x CPU, and performance is just barely playable now, but far from good even with the slight improvement. Can hold 45 fps and hit 72 occasionally when looking away from busy effects. Still far from an optimized VR app, but the idea is cool and looks nice. Hopefully their new build actually runs acceptably on VR hardware. Its a beautiful looking app but performance is abysmal even on a 3080. It can't hold 72 fps and drops below 40 constantly. It needs to be HEAVILY optimized.
