game sucks lmao
(I have maybe 4 or 6 hours in the game, playing it in offline mode doesn't track it... I literally played it online just to be able to write this...) What a disgraceful disrespectful way to treat what would otherwise be an easy way to cash in on a successful concept. Also, best played with a controller? I'm doing that and every second of it makes me sick. I came across this game when trying to find other games super cheap on a key site, and thought, I just looked into LBX, and that was like Custom Robo, Medabots, and the one FromSoft made too. Obviously I wasn't expecting much, but you know, old pervy game 60 cents eh whatever right? Because it has a popup on startup I can't use it seamlessly on my tablet through streaming, so that idea got burnt to cinders. And it spits on itself at every turn. This game was definitely made in the better with friends age apparently... As playing this game alone is awful, and the bots are stupid and every CPU clock your hardware can push out is going to be committed to the game screwing you over. Let me paint the picture first... Soul Saver 2 basically takes the resource system games like Battlefront 2 has, and doubles down on the idea. The people you pick have different uses, and ones who have more versatility or (On paper) Viability traditionally take more points to lose if you die, and the higher point ones typically have less HP to work with. Cool right? Missile silo bunny girl surely needs some mechanic to balance the fact she can sit across the screen and offer suppressing fire from cover and snipe people from across the map. -Nothing wrong here right? Well, because of that system, you can use an expensive to deploy character and almost lose with a 4-0 KD, you might certainly lose a 3-1, and will always lose in what would normally be considered a draw. Even worse is that Arcade mode makes you assume the responsibility of your AI teammates, so if they suck... and they most certainly do, your 800 or 1200 points can easily turn into you losing 1-3 hundred credits. So you can easily lose 3-4 thousand credits just by playing it, especially when round 6 is just an overtuned robot that only has eyes for you, an will end the game regardless of if you win or lose. (I never won that) -Also, because of this point imbalance, if you do intend to grind, something you should do 1v1 so you can actually make money, you have to hope you get to fight more expensive units, as you cannot select who you face as far as I know. When enemies get knocked over, they become invincible, when you shoot them, they do not trip like you do, they only get stun from sword shotgun and blast type attacks I believe, so it is neigh impossible to trade blows with them, using a sword against them is effective, but painfully campy, and using anything you want to use range wise is pathetic because enemies will casually walk in circles and rocket jump while making some of the characters with auto aim turrets seem like the top tier characters... But they aren't. The enemy AI is just babied so much by the game that they're circle strafing aimbots that sour anything this game could ever hope to achieve. The battles can easily consist of a 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 being two of your allies running figure 8s around one enemy, and the enemies doing the same to you, but because you're the player, they're going to skin you alive and shoot through walls and casually walk around you while auto aim misses every target, and the fact you cannot trade hits with AI makes it a stretch to do anything, let alone plant your feet and hit them back... Unless you're a melee character, which is where most of my grinding came from. I just cannot fathom what can go through a creator's mind when they sabotage their own creation for bitter amounts of longevity. You really think awful AI is going to make your game fun? You think getting shot through cover and trees is something people who play non lewd versions of games like this want to experience? Hell if it's clunky, who cares you tried, but it truly feels like more effort has been put into making this a bad game than a good one. And it screams better with friends more desperately than some of the more popular board, kart and party games that exist... And that alone probably says more than I could ever word in through a review like this to the people who experienced that. Avoid at any cost.
打起来爽不了,奶子也没法好好看,什么辣鸡
No open game of steam deck
