Sonnet tells the story of Maisey, a young traveler burdened with the task of transporting a magical flower across a medieval roadtrip.

After two long weeks on the road, you finally arrive at the Yeast Flats, an arid expanse home to the continent’s most prominent bread mage population. Their loaves are renowned even as far as your little village. Probably why your grandmother was always complaining about the price. You can’t wait to taste a local batch and see a famed boule house for yourself. That is, if you can stand the heat.

With your journey well underway, the precious cargo on your back starts to ache at your shoulders, a reminder of why you traveled here. Having never been this far from home and relying only on a maybe slightly (definitely) outdated map, you set out towards the valley’s historic Cloudwater Outpost… hoping it’ll provide a wellspring for both you and the fragile burden you’re transporting.
