This game is DEAD! Please remove your dead game from steam or fix it Apparently they shut the game down a while ago so you just get a network error when you try to launch it This should be removed from steam, especially the paid DLC as it is false and misleading advertising!
Game is shutting down, please do not bother to waste your time. Aeria was unable to maintain a competitive environment and also did not announce Worlds this year, leading to a steadily dwindling list of players. You should take your money (and preferably your HDD space) to another company. R.I.P Soldier Front 2, it was fun while I played you! The competitive community was great when it was around, shame the poor design decisions, and inability to fix persistent performance issues turned away most players. Thanks for all the fun times. Shouts to: best talent spee aethi jojokalip hwang zombs tragedy And anyone else who I played with in my time!

GUYS I FOUND THE GAME!!! They have the game back up under a different name. I saw gameplay and you can look it up. They are playing one the same map from Soldier Front 2. Its called S.K.I.L.L. Special Forces 2. both have SF2 in the name. You can look it up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gO4G14a1IcI. See you guys on the Front Line. Like this so people can see.
To anyone even considering downloading, this game has been shut down. Do not bother, it was fun while it lasted but its over. Im surprised they didnt just take this off of the steam store, its been gone for a while.
Good for the price. Similar to call of duty, but without as many customizations. easy to kill, easy to be killed, small or large maps, lots of gamemodes, lots of weapons, decent graphics, and there is no need to pay any real money because you have plenty of money you start out with to buy weapons or gear! Overall, this game was good while I played it, but there are definitely better games out there. For the price, I would rate this 7/10
I've been playing SF2 for quite awhile and to be honest. It's amazing. I never did get bored as the game has constant patch and updates. (with new map packs etc.) The devs and forums are active. As you know this is a Free To Play game. In most FTP games you might expect a Pay To Win situation. But for SF2, the gun they first provide are pretty decent, and they also have daily log-in prizes. That way you're able to experience better guns, of course with limited time. Overall it's a great game, if you're looking to start off your FPS journey, you'll never go wrong with Soldier Front 2. Nicholas, Battlefield & Titanfall
I just got out of prison and bought all the DLC for this game. I used to play it all the time before I was wrongfully incarcerated for 8 years for burning my ex wife's trailer down. Seems like I wasted my money and this game doesn't work now. Anyone know the trailer park the developers live at?
I remember playing this game on steam in 2013. Unfortunately the original devs sold the game and it immediately everything started going downhill. It's been renamed special force by the new devs but the game is ruined. RIP the best F2P game on steam. The hitboxes were perfect, none of the guns were overpowered, the maps were detailed and the game modes were unique. Hackers were rare. It didn't matter if you a paid player or a f2p player. There will never be another game like this again...May we have a moment of silence...Alphagenius out...
Why am I writing a review for a game that shut down years ago in 2021? Good question. I played this on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laptop when I was a kid and just wanted this to be the top newest review that's all.
I enjoyed this game while it lasted. At least 220 of my hours were from before I could afford any game I had to pay for. I spent many nights playing the seizure maps which were really fun in my opinion. Its a shame the game shut down. The game in itself was actually pretty good and if the devs could've stopped the whole playerbase from dwindling and addressed other problems that lead to SF2s demise, the game might've had some real potential as a competitive game. R.I.P SF2 (2013-2015)
