About
Lead humanity from its infantile cradle to supreme solar dominance in Solar Nations 2, the grand strategy game where the Solar System becomes an intricate battlefield.
Build colonies on distant worlds, develop revolutionary technologies, and decide whether humanity will unite among the stars… or destroy itself in nuclear fire.
The nine planets of Sol are waiting to be conquered. Each one offers unique advantages, dangers, and strategic possibilities:
Mercury offers the closest access to the Sun.
Venus presents a high-risk, high-reward terraforming gambit.
Earth is rich in population and industry, but divided by old rivalries.
Mars boasts valuable resources and proximity to the Asteroid Belt.
Jupiter’s moons each provide unique opportunities for colonization and conflict.
Saturn holds a wealth of rare resources waiting to be discovered.
The Ice Giants present strange research opportunities at the edge of civilization.
The Kuiper Belt is a gateway to the unknown.
And beyond Neptune, the ninth world waits.
Solar Nations 2 allows great breadth and depth at once.
In war, you command vast space fleets to conquer the planets, while also intricately customizing each vessel to fit a role of your choosing.
In peace, you carefully navigate the political intrigues of an interplanetary society, while constructing great projects which will stand as testimonies of your greatness to future generations.
The civilizations of mankind are not divided by borders alone. They are divided by worldviews, ambitions, myths, fears, and rival visions of what humanity should become.
Every nation believes it has a unique claim on the future. Every ideology carries its own sense of righteousness. As mankind spreads beyond Earth, these old struggles do not disappear, instead they expand across the void itself: becoming greater in some ways and in others remaining the same.
Combine armies, aircraft, ships, spacecraft, and strategic weapons into an unstoppable war machine, with each force playing a distinct role in the great game of civilizations.
In Solar Nations 2, you are the master of your nation's destiny. Everything which happens within your borders is something you preside over - there is no need to rely on AI help. Each mechanic is simple enough to understand while also offering strategic depth to ensure there is a wide variation of choices, where there isn't always a best solution.
Create alternate histories, future scenarios, custom nations, borders, flags, populations, and political setups with the built-in scenario editor. Share your creations through Steam Workshop, download community scenarios, and reshape the Solar System alone or with friends.

The game is not too bad, very rough around the edges but also very unique at the same time. Quite a few options for molding your nation, political, ideological, cultural which is nice. These could use a lot of improvement but as a whole theyre a fun element of the game. One small warning, due to devs coddling of the far right as a response to mild criticism of the political themes within the game there are many sweaty unwashed asmongold fans and white nationalists in the community/discord now, so be warned, the community is infested, though not entirely, full of white nationalists now. Caveat emptor I guess. Buy the game for the games qualities, expect very little from the community or their involvement in making the game better(aside from a handful of normal people).
The game still needs a bit of polish like the ui is a bit akward but i see the vision and this game has the potential to become great worth everz penny
While I had fun in my first playthrought, I can't sadly recommend the game in this current state. I hope we are in the first beta iterations for SN2 because it has a great potential and it will pain me to see the game released as such. Imo, the most infuriating elements are: - the UI and its responsiveness, sometimes echap will close a panel, sometimes not, upgrading infra in a colonized region is a chore, sometimes there is a confirm pop-up, sometimes not... - the AI, most of the countries just sit and do nothing all game. I'd rather see 50 active countries than 150 with 100 doing nothing - the lack of pop-up. Well, it's frustrating to discover too late that a huge war started or that a country colonized a region you wanted - performance, can the game use my RAM and CPU ? It feels like the game is currently only playable for 300 years before starting to slow down heavily. I have less performance troubles on VIC3 or EU5 Elements that need a polished version: - alignment, aside relationship is under-used - more events, more dynamic crises. The game feels empty currently. The polycrisis was a fun start and I had the hope there will be more in the future. I stand corrected Elements I totally disagree with, but it's mostly personal opinion: - culture assimilation and unity while being a cool concept on paper is relatively dumb ig. You have to either not conquer any other territory or playing like a genocidal maniac to unlock culture related technologies. There are only 2 slots for accepted culture with no progression ig - lack of customization. My all 5 playthroughs felt the same. No specific mechanic for alignment for instance kills the replayability. I understand I need to play modded scenarii but there are none to my taste currently - culture in general. I like the idea of culture split in space. But how can cultures on earth stay the same for 400 years ? Can we have dynamic culture spliting/fusing ? - culture traits. Was fun on the first 2 playthroughs. Under-used currently and culture power is mostly useless after 2200s - politic is really boring. No special laws, no incentive to change some laws I really hope some elements will be issued before the game leave early access. I will change my recommendation if so
great fun not to hard to get into. bonus for having a demo 🙏🙏❤️❤️
For a game that's being made by one dude, this game is super impressive. This game is so new that it doesn't have a whole lot of info online for how to play. I've played hundreds of hours of grand strategy so I'm ok being a trail blazer here. It's basically hearts of iron and victoria in space on a space system scale. I've got no problem reading stuff on screen to find my bearings and figure it out. If this game got recommended to you, you know you don't either. I can't wait to get into the game, sit down with a coffee or energy drink and figure out planetary scale invasions and solar system level warfare. This game will be big time if the dev keeps up. it's 100% worth the full price right now. On sale even more so. If i could request anything it would be a manual that explains things clearly. The math, units, economy, policy ect...But I understand that takes time. There isn't any point in writing a manual in early access when things are subject to change. Also don't pay attention to idiots trying to leave "political" reviews. one review mentions "4chan right wingers." There's nothing cringe in this game at all. That might as well be a bot account to spark up ♥♥♥♥. If you like paradox games you should pick this up. It's full price is only $10 right now. It's so worth it.
Love this game. There are so many dynamics from my favorite games combined into one. If you enjoy HOI4, Stellaris, Europa Universalis, or Victoria, this game is for you!
This is an incredibly ambitious game. It plays like a mix of HOI4, Millennium Dawn, Vic 3, Civ, and Terra Invicta. The game is a bit rough around the edges, with some mechanics that aren't well integrated or are unbalanced, however I'm sure these aspects will be improved as development continues. Considering this is the work of a solo dev, I think the game is super impressive already. I would highly recommend picking it up, especially given how low-priced it is. I'm excited to see how the game develops!
Great Game. If you love stellaris, you will love this game (in my opinion). Flomgus PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add a auto survey button in the construction menu, Its literally the one thing that makes me unmotivated to play (having to check to see if everything is surveyed because it is hard to afford early-mid game)
Yet another torture device for a "game" where no matter what country you pick, the economy will crash, and your country will revolt as soon as you push play. Cool concept, but too bad you'll never make it to the stars. The tutorial isn't even helpful. Just save your money.
A GREAT GRAND STRATEGY GAME I CAN ANNEX COUNTRIES AND PLANETS SHOULD BUY
