Wirklich schickes Game in niedlich-creepy Style.

Pros:
- Beautiful art! The style builds atmosphere really well in my opinion. It's cute, while also being able to make certain scenes look unsettling which creates nice balance between a homely, cozy mood and a creepy, abandoned home where only the toys are conscious things. - Great concept. I really enjoy being in perspective of children/animals/toys as it creates a certain perspective you don't usually experience while playing with an adult character. Everything seems so much bigger and scarier since we're playing as a stuffed animal. - Puzzles. There isn't an overwhelming amount of them and they're fairly easy to do on your own. Same with achievements as they aren't too convoluted and can be completed with trial and error. - Plot. I found it really enjoyable. What happened isn't outright explained, but hinted at enough for you to come up to your own conclusions. For me, it perfectly encapsulates the unsettling reality of what could have occurred in this house from a perspective of the unaware toy, simply wanting to find their owner. Without getting into spoilers, I think the ending was really beautiful and a great way to conclude the game.
Cons (not really!):
- The game is very short! You can 100% it in one playthrough. This isn't a con for me, but it might be for someone else, so I did mention it. I think it was the perfect amount to tell the story, especially for the price. - No concrete saving method. Again, this isn't really a problem considering how short the game is. It's easy to get back to a certain point if you missed anything, plus there is a resume button who throws you back if you close the game, but I thought it's good to mention it :)
Summary:
Softie is a really great point & click game with amazing art and atmosphere. Although short, it balances the gameplay and plot well, and manages to tell it's whole story in a nicely paced way. We don't get the chance to really explore other characters, but I enjoyed them regardless due to their designs and differences in personalities. All the other toys were really fun to see, and I really liked exploring the lore behind Softie's owner and their family. It's a great game, and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys point & clickers and/or is looking for a short, creepy, yet beautifully made game!
