fun game some puzles were confusing but loved the story and gameplay 8/10 would recomend

I love Softie. It has to be one of my favorite hidden gems on Steam so far and one of my favorite little games of all time! Pros: - The art is eerie, stunning, and refreshing. Adds so much charm. - Pacing is quick as the puzzles are not too hard to figure out (from somebody who sucks at puzzle games). - Works great on the Steamdeck without tweaking! The only hard part was one long hallway scene, but it was doable after a few tries. - The story is very show not tell, but still makes sense with minimal theory crafting. - There's some insane details in this game. Interacting with everything multiple times, going back into rooms you feel like you've completed, and paying attention to what characters say is rewarded heavily. - CREEPY GIRLY GAME!! It's not explicitly girly, but it's unashamed of it's bows and cute characters. Need so much more in this genre!! Cons: - The hallway scene was quite the difficulty spike on Steamdeck. Please get this game if you like charming, creepy, short games! It's more than worth your $1.99!!

Love the artwork, animations, and music! This is a really cute game that I was not expecting to get attached to but its (sad) storytelling, personality, and great balance of exploration and puzzles made it such a charming experience. I really wish more people gave this game a chance.

Very cute and sad horror game! Some of the puzzles took me a few tries, but all are definitely achievable. The animation style is so pretty and provides a nice contrast to the unfortunate story line. Recommended 👍
