So it’s Simple! is a gentle 2D platformer inspired by T.C. Aeelah’s beloved children’s book, created especially for young players aged 6 to 10 — particularly for those taking their first steps into gaming. Designed with care, this game contains no violence, no combat, and no survival mechanics. It offers a safe, calming world where imagination, kindness, and curiosity lead the way.
🌊 About the Game
Step into a whimsical and magical world with Ivo, a quiet, curious boy. Alongside a playful fairy — who also happens to be a butterfly’s best friend — Ivo embarks on a journey of exploration, discovery, and helping others.
Ivo isn’t a typical hero. He doesn’t enjoy chewing food, and sometimes even small tasks feel big. But through simple moments — like collecting fruit, listening to waves, or following the breeze — he begins to discover his place in the world.

Reviews
This is nothing more than an overpriced, AI-generated asset dump masquerading as a wholesome adventure. It lacks soul, effort, and basic game design principles, making its asking price not just unreasonable, but outright insulting. On the surface, the game seems like a charming platformer based on the beloved children’s book of the same name. It follows a young boy, Ivo, who, like many child protagonists, gets lost in a whimsical world filled with fairies, talking ants, and moral lessons about kindness and helping others. It’s the kind of premise that should make for a delightful, heartwarming experience. Unfortunately, any potential magic is swiftly buried under an avalanche of AI-generated assets, uninspired design, and a price tag that is laughably unjustified. The game wastes no time showing its true nature. From the very first stage, you're met with a collection of empty floating islands, basic platforms, and clouds haphazardly scattered in the sky. The objective is to find 15 fruits, but there are no waypoints, no guiding elements—just a lot of confusion. The world feels lifeless, and the suspiciously AI-generated voices that chime in as you progress only add to the eerie artificiality. This isn’t a carefully handcrafted indie experience; it’s an asset flip wearing the disguise of a wholesome adventure. On surface, the game follows standard platforming conventions. Ivo can jump, double-jump, and wall-climb. There’s no stamina meter, so he can scale vertical walls indefinitely, and there’s no fall damage, meaning any misstep simply results in an annoying climb back up. But don’t let the child-friendly visuals fool you—the difficulty is unbalanced. The game relies on blind jumps into the unknown, often requiring pixel-perfect landings with zero indication of where to go. There’s also a bizarre double-jump mechanic that demands you to walk off a platform, jump mid-fall, and then jump again. This is required for the last fruit, which floats too far away for your normal jump, but the game doesn’t teach you about this move at all. After collecting all 15 fruits, the second stage tasks you with finding four ant eggs and bringing them to their nest. This segment is smaller but no less frustrating. The eggs are hidden behind fake walls, meaning you have to throw yourself against every surface just to see if it leads anywhere. The final stage is a single stretch where you simply walk to the right until you reach a house. That’s it. The credits then roll in an infinite loop until you exit with the ESC key—because, of course, there’s no in-game menu or quit option. If this game were free, it would be easy to recommend because you have nothing to lose. But instead, it’s priced alongside well-crafted indie titles, a baffling decision given its lack of polish, depth, or originality. There’s no sense of accomplishment, no meaningful reward—just a hollow, AI-generated imitation of what a game should be.
