It always amaze me how one person can create a game alone from scratch and be this nice and smooth to play. The gameplay is easy enough with simple mechanics: move fast, don't starve and keep doing your best. But it doesn't mean it's boring or easy, each level feels different enough, and is so satisfying to get a near miss that I couldn't help myself but trying my best to get the longest streak on every game. There's a lot of details that add to the flavor of the game, like the colors on each scene, bullet time for near misses, particles and smooth transitions between animations. I see a lot of potential for future mechanics in the game, like: New game modes

Endless
Zen
Time Attack
Multiplayer
New enemies

Bombs / Self Destruct
Teleporters
Bosses
New mechanics:

Portals
Dashes
Spend food during the game for some benefits
I would say it's a gem under polishment, that already started showing it's bright! If you read until here, you should definitely give it a chance, without any regrets Let's support our independent game developers!
Snake eat snake get longer snake happy im happy.
The game starts simple and your instinct may misguide you thinking this is a “snake game”, well yes and no. You control a snake-ish character, yes, but your growth is determined by the longer you progress through the game and not in each level. You have to eat, but to survive, not to grow. And you may think that you must survive colliding with walls, but no: There are plenty of enemies that go from arrows, homing missiles, lasers, and more that I won’t spoil here (the cubes change the scenario itself!). But the worst enemy here is time itself: You must survive a determined amount of time on each level to complete it, but that’s not it, because your character will be gradually losing life over time, hence the need to eat enough food to resist the established time. As you gradually pass through the levels you may think this is a piece of cake, but it’s not. Believe me. The first levels are just the setting of the game rules, but after that the rules start to change, the enemies and colors start to change and the music does as well. Each level is filled with different combinations of enemies and walls that put your reflex to the test in different situations, and once you master that challenge, the game suddenly goes forward and takes the challenge one more level, so there’s never a comfort zone, except for the bonus levels. The bonus levels may seem like a good rest from the fast-paced challenges (and they are), but more than that, the bonus levels unlock a new slot in your life bar, and with it, another section of your character’s length. That makes you feel like you’re advancing, but beware!, because now you’re bigger, and bigger means you’re easier to hit. About hitting, there’s a cool mechanic that involves dodging (sometimes on purpose, sometimes not) your enemies trajectory, giving you a score multiplier that may encourage you to go for more, but in this game you must know when to stop eating sometimes. The soundtrack may sound simple at first, but later on it becomes the guide you follow in more than one aspect, because it helps you keep a fast rhythm and stay alert, not only for the melody itself, but for the sound effects that help you understand you’re losing life, or worst: when you completely lost one on your snake’s sections. The game truly felt simple to me at first, but then I found myself trying to survive each level just to wait for the next danger to overcome. My advice is don’t judge it as a simple game because of its minimalist art design, because the strong points aren’t there, and they aren’t the ones that make you want to play more, it’s the level design, the mechanics, the sound, the enemies and the whole creativity that glues it all together what will make you feel like you chose a good game here.
