Smol Survivors

Nothing wrong with this survivors game as long as you are NOT looking for 20+ hrs.

Great art and animations, a fun style that doesn't take itself seriously in the best ways, and some great tunes make this a steal and a must-play game.

Game good. Game smol. But has many survivors. The survivors are also smol, which makes sense. Much playtime will make me beeg survivor. Seriously, though. Well implemented game loop that makes me want to keep playing. There are a ton of things that I haven't yet unlocked and still have yet to experience and I'm looking forward to doing so. Thanks, smolblockboi!

Very fun and enjoyable game! I love the cute characters and all their different costumes. The music is pretty solid too! My favourite part is that you can infinitely upgrade your speed stat to the point where trying to even start the level is an almost an impossible task. Definitely worth the $5 price point!

I enjoyed my time with this game, Cute art style a nice selection of weapons and unlocks, fun gameplay loop and the expeditions added a reason to replay levels to unlock currency for skins. Definitely got my moneys worth out of this game.

Interesting take on the survivor genre - each character has a weapon and special skill. The mini missions are cool and engaging. After a while you will learn the best weapons and combos -> after that the game becomes easy.

Love the pixel art, the Smol universe! Been playing this game since its early development and it's nice to see it finally out. If you like Survivor-likes you'll definitely enjoy this one. Bonus points for being and awesome developer and streamer. Can't wait for future updates!

Charming and addictive. Animations and controls are silky smooth, sprites are full of personality, weapons are unique, and most importantly, slaying large swaths of enemies is satisfying. When starting out (at the time of writing), there's no indication that character upgrades are possible other than the currency you collect on runs. There's nowhere to spend your money! Turns out you have to visit the quest board in the overworld, and rescue the various survivors (this is also how you unlock other playable characters). After a while, you'll come across a shopkeeper who will then make upgrades available to you once rescued. Once I understood this, I really began to enjoy the experience. Overall, this is a welcome addition to my ever-growing collection of survivor-type games.

This is a fun game so far! I have only unlocked the second world so perhaps more to discover, but although it is simple it is fun and the look and feel is uplifting and pretty satisfying. Hopefully we may see some more content added or expansions if it does well.
