Slurkum

Slurkum is a fantasy survival game where you explore a huge world for resources and battle monsters with weapons or magic spells, alone or with other people online. You start off by creating your own character with the use of many sliders, you have endless possibilities to make it entirely your own. I've been playing this game with my friends from the BatPack and we've played it with a total of 8 people. It was one big lag fest, where animals are magically teleporting or vanishing into thin air. Apart from crashing occasionally I also needed to restart several times due to getting spammed with errors or having to deal with a trading bug. Exploring the massive environment is fun because there is a lot to see, but a lot of places aren't finished yet and you could walk right through the buildings. After all, It's early access so this can be expected... Nothing gets explained and you need to figure it all out by yourself, which is annoying and I don't have patience for that. This world is way too big and I think you should start small, expand later and finish the basics of the game first. Right now it's a mess, it's really buggy and it's surely not worth the price of 16,79€! Sorry for sounding so negative or ungrateful since I received this game for free, but I find honesty very important! I can't recommend the game in this state, but I might try it again in the future to see what has changed, and update my review accordingly.

Its rough. It has potential but I have no idea what im doing. I fell into a crevice near a mountain and couldnt get myself out. No idea how to force a respawn or anything. No controls or anything on this game. It is the definition of figure it out on your own. I'll try back in a few months.

Cannot recommend. I tried the game on server, pretty laggy where I don't lag in most any other MMOs. Zero other players online as well. The character creation is bad. (1000's of choices) but that doesn't change the fact character creation is clunky and bad. Graphics are bad (before the dev comes in like he did on another). The graphics are bad for any game in the last 20 years. UI is terrible, trying to talk to people is terrible, just all around poor. It might be a single developer but its just not good, I bought it for 90% off and I'm still requesting a refund.

If you like nostalgia maybe But if you want something playable i would pass. Very clunky in movement. Mix and match Ui Graphics are below standard. Character creation is not that good Skin tone only changes for body not face. Half the mechanics are broke as in cannot interact with a few craft things. Dropped my robe could not pick it back up. Although on sale for very l0ow price i would wait for some very much needed updates and some solid foundation.
