For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Each wave gives you one irreversible decision.
That decision doesn’t just make your defense stronger, it changes how it behaves over time.
Towers and modifiers interact, interfere, and reshape each other across the run.
Some builds become efficient.
Some become chaotic.
Some collapse into overwhelming synergies you didn’t plan for.
Every run is a different machine formed from the same rules.
Seven Operators give each run a distinct starting identity before your first pick.
Build it. Watch it take shape. Push it until it breaks.

Unique and fun tower defense. If you enjoy tower defense games, this is really a no brainer. Pick it up and start playing, try different tower and ability combos. A lot of fun.
SLOT THEORY is one of those rare tower defense games that just flows. It blends controlled strategy with just enough RNG to keep things exciting and allowing you to test towers to an exponential level with power ups system. It is reminiscent of the game Rounds, where every level allows you to power up with towers (potentially mutated) and actually abilities to put in slots in those towers, and general field enhancements for all towers. What really stands out is how far smart decision-making can take you... this isn’t luck carrying runs, it’s you learning the system and bending it. The fact that this was made by a single dev just experimenting? Honestly unbelievable. It feels way more polished than 99% of games I have played on steam. I love it. Simple concept, insanely satisfying execution. If you want to check it out, here is a VOD of the game on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/bolasthebarbarian/video/2752332936

Good game, some clever new TD mechanics I've never seen before. Looking forward to future updates with more maps.
its beautiful.... lots of "just one more run" and some cool towers you unlock after a first time completion of certain levels
Fun and challenging tower defense. Has some unique towers that become unlocked towards the end of campaign.
Great little tower defense game, the game's fun, and interesting with the upgrade combinations. Also a perfect little phone game, however to run it in GameNative you need a processor that can handle 48 bit virtual memory addresses, which mine did not. However I talked with the developer and he sent me an android apk to test, and it seems to work perfectly.
It's cool, I helped. It has this clicky gritty feel and you get a bunch of upgrades you can play around with. Tooltips and codex are extensive, and the card explanations are immersive. My fav are the generated build names. Dev listens to community and patched bugs and QoLsuperfast.
Fun, original & addictive game. I recommend this one!
An addictive little tower defence game with a surprisingly deep build system Slot Theory is one of those games that looks fairly simple when you first start playing, but very quickly pulls you into the "just one more run" mindset. The core idea is fantastic: each wave gives you a choice, and those choices gradually shape your entire build. Towers, modifiers and upgrades can interact in ways you don't necessarily expect, and there's something really satisfying about watching a build you put together start snowballing into ridiculous combinations. What I particularly like is that you're not simply following a predetermined upgrade path. You have to adapt to what you're offered and decide whether to strengthen what you're already building or take a risk on something that could completely change how your defence works. The runs are also a really nice length. You can sit down and play without feeling like you're committing to a massive session, but there's enough variety and experimentation to make you want to immediately try another build. There's clearly been a lot of thought put into the systems, and the continued updates are a big positive as well. The developers have already been adding new mechanics, balancing existing systems and improving quality-of-life features. If you enjoy tower defence, roguelikes, build experimentation or games where you can spend far too long trying to create the perfect broken combination, I'd definitely recommend giving Slot Theory a go.
Very good! Recommended!
