About
Slime Soup is a messy game about running a very questionable soup kitchen in a gross fantasy world.
Link and merge slimes, add filthy ingredients in your cauldron and make huge combos to feed a bunch of weird and ugly clients!
If your soup feels to delicious, just add a bunch of crap in it and make the most putrid broth you can!
120 different kitchen utensils, from a roll of toilet paper to the eye of an ancient beast
6 different cauldrons to conquer
20 different clients, from simple Goblins to tougher Witches, Yetis and Zombies
It’s a mix of puzzle, physics chaos and building something that slowly snowballs into a ridiculous scoring engine.
The kitchen is falling apart. The soup is alive.
And somehow, business is still going.

Probably the best "Balatro-like" I've played since, well, Balatro. Building long combos is addictive and satisfying and there's a wide variety of build potential and content. It's also extraordinarily well polished. Passive upgrades being physical items inside the cauldron is a great touch among many others. It's oozing (pun intended) with charm and personality. The animation is fluid and the music is catchy. For $5 ($3.50 on sale??) it's a total steal. Good stuff.
cool art style fun mechanics you might say that this game is souper hahhah

I feel like this game in unnecessarily challenging, not because of strategy or any technical aspect, but because getting a decent build running requires so much RNG that you are basically failing over and over until you get decent that synergize. Additionally, the only way to limit RNG and improve your odds is to progress further into your run, which is difficult with how much luck is involved. Another thing is that there isn't that much content currently, but I don't really count that as a downside because the game is so cheap. I also had the game crash within the first hour of playing.
As always, a great game by Pierre Vandermaesen, great design, fun gameplay and very cheap !
A quick to learn satisfying game, art style is fun and there are a lot of creative interactions and combos to pull off
Wonderful little match 3 game that fulfills the dream of cooking very poorly for goblins and watching them consume your horrible soup. So basically a better experience than working at your average fast food place.
Just an absolutely delightful, low intensity game, full of incredibly funny jokes. If you enjoy fantasy humor, if you want to cook an chunky, grimy gruel for ghouls and goblins who complain if the soup is too smooth or lacking swamp water, this game is for you
I've spend 2 hours playing this game. It's an amazing, and very original game. Very addictive. It's so satisfying to see these slimes explode, and to feed all the odd creatures craving for the slimy soup. And of course it's hard to get the good reviews and so easy to lose all the stars. Luckily, you can progress by improving the store for each run. I like the simple pixelart graphics. The limited color palette really gives it a good vibe. It's a game you just keep playing. Just another run, because the one before ended way too soon, and end up playing for way too long on a good run. I still need to figure out what's the best strategy to survive as long as possible. Higly recommended.
VERY frequent game crashes after the round was done, the post-day screen never appearing making you close the game and replay the same day over and over
Such a nice game! I didn't know I could had fun making weird slime soups for goblins!
