I've played both and definetly recommend this one (and even the first one)! While it is a bit sad that some of the slime in the first one are not present in the second one, the new slimes are still very cute and fun to interact with. The environment is beautiful and exploring is very relaxing and fun. While I have to say that some region do have lost of unecessary walks (more in the later part of the game), it does not feel too boring. To truly enjoy the game, is to not rush it... Enjoy the walks, the day and night cycle, and of course, interacting with the world. Once you are done with the game though, there is not much else to do, which is my only complaint, but that is the same for every game.
