Good Game
The game is good, but I feel like it missed an opportunity to be amazing. My excitement for this game was through the roof, and therefore my expectation was high. In some respects, it met those standards, while in others, it left me a bit puzzled. Farming: There is very little innovation compared to the original game, to the point where I wondered if anything had been added at all. I still had a very hard time justifying the use of any utilities besides the Drone Stations and Warp Tech. What really puts this under a microscope is how easy money is to come by. Almost immediately, you realize there are no new upgrades for the original infrastructure, nor are there any new building types to purchase. Exploration: Traversing across numerous different biomes, tracking down new slimes and resources, is a real treat. You can tell that a lot of passion and innovation were poured into this portion of the game. It looks fantastic and I had no issues running the game. Achievements: I feel like there is so much left to explore by the time I have the final achievement unlocked. I had not finished my equipment upgrades, completed my blueprints, or done anything with the Radiant Slime Sanctuary patch.Did Monomi Park not want a hearty grind standing between the player and 100% completion? If so, why not tweak the drop rates or upgrade costs to reduce the grind while still leaving an achievement for players who fully complete those portions of the game?

Honestly, just the cutest game. Definitely worth playing.
fantastic continuation of the original. perfect combination of familiar and new. monomi park just get it i do think the story could've been better. the original's was perfect. it didn't pretend it was deep and didn't focus the game around it, but it was sweet and made the world feel more lived in. this story takes a more forward, save-the-world role in the game. the ending in particular was sort of a let down, especially when compared with the original. i'm glad it exists, but i do wish it was better.
pretty good
