PROS: - looks even better than the original game with lush, beautiful landscapes and detailed models - some nice addition to the gameplay like Yolk Slimes CONS: - the creators clearly wanted to focus on exploration and adventure elements, but still brought back the ranch and taking care of the slimes which made the first game famous - unfortunately, both sides are working against each other with the ranch bringing the exploration to a screeching halt every time you need an upgrade and the adventure dragging you away from taking care of slimes - ...at least until halfway point when the ranch becomes a useless side activity you only need to perform to obtain decorative items - the areas are huge, labyrinthian and unpleasant to explore - the further into the game, the worse they get - you can get upgrades (like teleporters) that make the exploration easier, but all of them are locked behind a LOT of grinding - all the interesting supporting characters from the first game return, only to be reduced to providing exposition and giving you useless decorations - the story is rather uninteresting To be frank, I found the game to be just tedious. What a disappointment after the gem that was the first one. 3/10
