Good game, but for the amount of content you should probably wait for it to go on sale.
nice puzzle game with slime booba
To start, this is genuinely one of the best puzzle games I've played in a while, as it has gameplay that is different from any other puzzle game I've ever played. To see a block puzzle game that isnt just a match-3 or match colors game is honestly super refreshing! Having to strategize what colors to mix and how to set up future mixes to hit the flavor profile requirements is very compelling to do! Along with being able to cut up the fruit to make even more decisions on where blocks should fall, its a serious challenge, especially in later shifts. As for the titular slime girls themselves, they're pretty cute, in both ways! The rewards for doing each shift perfect are also a nice touch. Overall, I would pick this game up whenever you can!
This incredibly indepth puzzler contains an adorable story, cute slime girls, and a unique puzzle system that will having you scratch your head as you get more and more in depth. Did I mention the slime girls are hot and voice acted? That should probably be mentioned. They are hot as hell AND voice acted.
If you like puzzle games with big bazongas then this is the game for you, it's a bit challenging but you can take your time with the puzzles. 8/10 would recommend.
Good little outing for some sweet slime. 😋
It's not bad! A little short, but not bad! The DLC is the best part, though. The rules are simple enough: -Complete a set number of drinks per night to progress and unlock a gallery picture; complete them all to view the characters in the next cutscene naked; complete every drink on every night to get an extra gallery picture -You get 15 turns per drink -Each turn, you get a selection of shapes with colors -You MUST fit the shape into the container -Putting 2 colors together makes a certain flavor -Each color combo makes a different flavor -If a tile has been used to make a flavor before it can be used to make more/other flavors, but will give fewer flavor points -Too much of one flavor ruins the drink -You need a certain amount of each flavor to complete the drink order This is the basic rule set for the game. You get tools that let you cut the shapes horizontally or vertically (once each per turn), and another to turn them upside down (YOU CANNOT MIRROR THEM). The real trick is the girls have different properties that alter how you get flavor points. Cherry is basic. She follows the above rules with no real twists and the hardest thing thrown at you is having to wait to get the tools to alter shapes in her early shifts. Mint is the hardest I'd say. She has tiles that halves the value of any color combo connected to that tile. There is a limited space in the container and some drinks demand a high point value in up to 3 flavor stats! You need a bit of luck and need to be really careful about your placement. Try and increase the lower flavor thresholds with her tiles and save the others to try and rack up the higher point totals. Failure to do so often means you're going to run out of space. Plum is the easiest. Like Mint, she has special tiles. What makes her easy is that her tiles DOUBLE the flavor values of any connected color combo. This produces the opposite effect Mint has and makes it so you can hit those high point values easily enough without running out of space in the container. You need to be relatively careful not to overshoot any flavor threshold, but most flavor point totals don't get high enough to be that big of a deal. Berry is the second hardest. She has both Mint and Plum tiles in her container. The Mint tiles are somewhat annoying, but are basically cancelled out by the Plum tiles. Just pay attention to which is which and you'll be fine. Berry also has a traumatic lore dump in her cutscenes that... don't really leave an impact. It happens so late into the game and comes out of nowhere. It's nice to have lore, but you don't make any major connection to any of the characters in the short time you're with them and, again, it comes out of nowhere. If we had an extra night or two with everybody, had Berry stick to her lore with the bar, and had the other girls tell their stories (instead of Berry dropping it all on us right at the end) it would be a bit better. As-is, it seems kind of random or last minute. --- DLC I'm marking this down as separate because you need to pay more money for it. Lemon, so far, is the hardest character in the game. There seems to be 2 DLCs to come after her, but we only have her right now. I stated that Mint was the hardest character. That is true for the main game, but the DLC clearly wanted to up the challenge. The rules are the same as before, but EVERY TILE IS A PLUM TILE! "You said that made the game easy before! What changed?" In order to balance out the boost in flavor output, the flavor points needed for each drink are higher. While this still sounds easy, there's another twist: flavor point values will decay with every move. You need to constantly be increasing the point totals or you'll run out of space trying to regain them later and the higher point totals mean you need to be closer to the "ruin the drink" flavor limit while you have constant double-points. --- TL;DR Slime Girl Smoothies is an alright game, but the most fun is found in the DLC. Lemon gives a constant balancing act that I wish there was more of in the main game. Buy both together; at a discount if the asking price seems a little steep.
The game does not allow selecting specific shifts. If you fail on any day, you have to do the entire route from day 1. Plus, the mini game is difficult. No skip button, must complete the complex mini game to unlock all arts. Literally time wasting, the arts are OK, but just not worthy of spending so much time.
Game crashes on selecting new game. No instructions for fix.
