Slender the Arrival. Where do I begin? It's very beautifully made (have it on my switch as well). I am a long time Creepypasta fan, and the fact that I seen multiple youtubers give this love made me want to buy it, so I did. Glad I did. The 8 pages level of the game brings me back to the really early days of Slenderman and its intense. Slender gets progressively aggressive the more pages you find just like in the old ios and Android. I'm glad I finally got around to playing it as it brings me strange comfort from my childhood and good memories. Thank you for making this game at the peak of Slenderman.

It's a good remake, with a new location (chapter). But the old version was scarier. But overall, a bit stuffy, and screamers, great game...)
Slenderman what a nostalgic creepypasta

TL;DR A quiet, minimalist horror game that relies on atmosphere and restraint instead of jump scares. Short, focused, and genuinely unsettling — especially when played alone. Full Review Quick clarification up front — because I’m consistent about this: I only review games I have beaten. Story completed. Credits rolled. Sometimes fear isn’t loud — it’s the silence behind you. Slender: The Arrival takes a simple horror concept and stretches it just far enough to stay effective. This isn’t a game about combat or power. It’s about vulnerability. You’re alone, under-equipped, and constantly unsure whether you’re actually being watched — which is exactly why it works. The game understands that imagination does more damage than monsters ever could. The atmosphere does the heavy lifting. Forests feel endless, abandoned buildings feel wrong, and the sound design keeps you second-guessing every step. When Slender shows up, it’s never flashy — it’s subtle, sudden, and deeply uncomfortable. What helps the game stand out from its indie roots is the added structure. Unlike the original Slender concept, The Arrival gives you a narrative framework and varied locations. It’s still minimal, but there’s a clear sense of progression instead of just wandering until you lose. That said, it is very focused on one idea. If you’re immune to slow-burn horror or need constant action, this won’t land as hard. Some sections rely on trial-and-error, which can dull the tension if repeated too often. But when it clicks, it clicks hard. This is the kind of horror that makes you walk instead of run — just in case. Steam Deck Performance Plays well on Steam Deck from start to finish. Performance is stable, controls map cleanly, and the UI is readable on the smaller screen. Headphones are strongly recommended — the sound design does most of the work here, and it translates perfectly to handheld play. Pros Strong atmosphere and sound design Effective use of minimalism Classic Slender Man tension Simple mechanics that serve the horror Cons Limited gameplay variety Trial-and-error sections Story is intentionally minimal Short experience Verdict A completed survival horror experience that understands restraint. Quiet, tense, and unsettling — proof that sometimes less really is more.
Con muchísimas fallas pero es uno de los mejores juegos de terror q se han hecho. No hay nada como el flaco slender agarrandote de la cola mientras suenan grillos de fondo.
i don't know why, but i love this game !!!
