best horror game10/10 slenderman is a proper creep
I can't find words that even begin to describe the scope of this game's beauty and greatness. The story presented, so complicated in it's simpleness, so utterly captivating. You feel every character, their suffering and pain. The Slenderman himself is a terrifying presence that hovers over us throughout the entire game, implementing itself into our minds, so that we can't find peace anywhere. This malevolent entity sets a true example on how to make a good antagonist of a horror game. The graphics in my humble opinion are breathtaking, especially as of the latest update. My personal favorite part is the beginning, when as we slowly descent on our way to Kate's house, the sunny and beautiful day slowly but surely turns into an uncertain night, setting the atmosphere exquisitly right off the bat. The character of Kate is easily one of my favorites across many games and her story sends a chill down my spine. I know I'm using big and descriptive words when talking about this game and it may sound silly to you, but I believe it's the only way to truly convey the magnificence of this game. Thank you Blue Isle Studios, I hope one day I'll see a continuation of this masterpiece.
Like the games of this kind, for me, the atmosphere is the key metrics. It was able to build and deliver a good one. 7.5/10
