Had a good time with this one. the gameplay is straight forward which isn't a bad thing. One of the few probable mobile ports that have translated well to PC. I think the game could do with some voice overs especially for the story they have goin' here. Solid effort for under 5 bucks. Sample gameplay (soon):
A Rough but Addictive Action Game with Metroidvania Elements This game isn’t a masterpiece, but it’s not a failure either—it offers simple yet addictive "run-and-gun" gameplay with light exploration elements. Pros: ✔ Fast-paced shootouts – Enemies attack aggressively, and weapons (especially the shotgun) deliver satisfying carnage with fountains of blood. ✔ Classic difficulty – Even on the hardest setting, enemies don’t turn into bullet sponges, keeping the challenge fair. ✔ Metroidvania-lite – New tools unlock previously inaccessible paths, adding replay value. ✔ Style & atmosphere – The graphics resemble AAA titles from years past, which is impressive for an indie project. Cons: ✖ Clunky mechanics – Auto-vaulting over every table and piece of debris gets annoying, and the lack of checkpoints (only manual saves) can be frustrating. ✖ Weird balancing – If you waste all your ammo on a boss and die, you’ll reload with empty guns. ✖ Weak stealth – The cover-based takedown mechanic is nearly useless. ✖ Bland lore – The story is predictable, and locations (sewers, caves) feel repetitive. Who’s it for? If you want a no-frills action game to play "with a beer," it’ll do the job. Don’t expect ultra-polished gameplay, but for its price (especially on sale), it’s worth a shot. Verdict: 7/10 – "Good for some mindless shooting, but don’t expect more." P.S. The devs clearly worked on a tight budget, but they put their hearts into it.
Good game for some cheap 'n short fun. It ain't nothing mind blowing (heck, some plot points are visible from a mile away), but the shoot 'em up style of gameplay combined with the metroidvania-esque elements more than make up for it in my opinion. I personally really enjoyed this, but it's kind of a shame that they didn't bring the arena mode over from the previous one. That's it really. Just don't expect AAA quality from this. While it does look great in my opinion, the gameplay can be EXTREMELY jank more often than not. So if you just can't put up with that, I suggest you go look for something else, but otherwise this is absolutely worth the asking price, especially on sale.
I enjoyed it for what it is - a simple shooting game with a health bar. Pew pew, not much thinking kind of game. Very fun!
