Slaughter 3 is the third-person shooter with lots of guns, fun and a nit of dark humor. The single player campaign offers a threadbare story, taking the player character Russell through a bunch of levels and missions. Break through the enemies, destroying everything that moves!

I'm not really sure if Slaughter 3: The Rebels is an asset flip. Some elements of this mobile app certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. There's no evidence, so we need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself. Also, asset flips normally don't make it to the mobile app stores, but Slaughter 3: is definitely a mobile app, which also raises the question why we have more mobile app garbage on Steam. Ah well. This is ambitious for a mobile app because it's a shoddy attempt at making an over the shoulder view third person shooter game for Android and iPhone, which never works, and it's somewhat remarkable to see all the suspicious positive reviews for what really is a poor game with quality indistinguishable from an asset flip. In this shooter you infiltrate an enemy complex (a prison or something) and shoot the baddies... there's some lightweight adventure elements as you "come close" to things and interact with them as well as shooting. Overall the plot for the game is negligible, it doesn't make sense why you're there or what you're doing. There's no English translation for the mobile app voiceover, it's all in Russian, but that's ok. It turns out, the language of bad games is universal. This mobile app has been translated from Russian into English... badly. If this was done through Google Translate, Google Translate should feel ashamed of itself. Regardless, the language in this game is broken and will put off a lot of gamers. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The mobile app assets are far from bleeding edge, with lowish polygon counts and somewhat low resolution textures, making this look like it's at least 10 years old. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks poor in comparison to more professionally produced games as a result of their decisions. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the mobile app unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the iPhones that the mobile app was designed for. These are unfortunate handicaps and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was an afterthought for the iPhone developers who are to blame for this. The mobile app is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for mobile phones forces upon a game. Once more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. I didn't spend thousands on building a gaming rig just so I could pretend it's an iPhone. These technical defects push this mobile app below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this mobile app is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality mobile app is to be expected. So, should you buy this mobile app? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. On Steam, this is $7 USD, on app stores, it's 5. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay a premium for an overpriced mobile app just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam. This is unacceptable disrespect for PC gamers. Because this is a mobile app, is priced to insult and gouge PC gamers, and because of the other defects, it's impossible to recommend. Just who do they think we are?
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this mobile app as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the mobile app (to date). Until this status changes, this mobile app will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this mobile app.

While I commend the solo efforts of the dev, the game is nothing short of mediocrity. There's almost nothing I can really say even. If you've played a third person shooter like... ever... at all, then you've played this game.
I would still love to see this game in first person Story is alright not the worst ive seen 4 different characters this is definitely the best game in the series completely underrated gem
Basic gameplay, simple mechanics but very solid game, with a cool leveling and progression system. It's a yes even at full price.
Впринципе, стоит своих денег, разрабы фиксят баги, игрушка прикольная UPD: Разрабы забили на игру, но она до сих пор играбельная на пару раз
I finished the game in about 6 hours and had a great time. The story is linear and straightforward, ending on a cliffhanger that leaves me curious about what happens next. I'll probably buy the sequel to find out more. The price is fantastic for 6 hours of gameplay, and I definitely recommend it. The graphics give off a nostalgic vibe, reminding me of the PSP era games.
