"Block-em-up." Surprisingly fun Tetris/puzzle game combined with Smash Brothers-esque fighting gameplay. Doesn't always work out the way you'd hoped, but better than I expected.
Будущее тетриса говорите? Ну-ну...
I felt compelled to write a review because I highly disagree with the "mostly negative" rating of this game. The idea is good and its execution is fine. The biggest problem seems to be the control type you choose. If you use a mouse/keyboard it apparently doesn't work well, but if you go with a controller there's no issues. The game is fun, creative, and deeper than it would appear at first blush. The campaign for single player is short, but it's the kind of short that left me wanting more in a good way. I haven't played this multiplayer yet but actually plan on doing so after having another friend of mine try this out and he liked it a lot as well. If anything, I want to see Slam Bolt Scrappers 2 as so much time has passed I can't imagine what cool things they can do with it. As I type this I see my play time is 2 hours, but that is absolutely wrong and I'm not sure why Steam has the wrong number. It's definitely more than that.

I don't remember where I got this game from but I hope I didn't pay full price for this as a child. The graphics are nowhere near as good as games should have in 2013 and the animations are goofy to say the least. I played enough to know that the gameplay is janky and not very satisfying. You end up doing all this work to get unsatisfying shapes, mismatched block colors, and even if you put in the effort to separate the colors of the blocks, you have your opponent there just ticking away at your blocks, ruining any attempt to have a decent looking or structured play area. It takes the effort of setting up block combos in Tetris and combines it with an annoyance who tries to ruin all your nicely set up big blocks. It feels bad to play, it doesn't look great, and it costs 10 bucks. I don't think it's worth more than 2. It feels like it's half flash game, and half mobile game. Skip this and don't look back.
I only really like the map menu. And why the hell do we have to 'unlock' multiplayer? That makes no sense when it's the only reason I got it.
If you want to get crazy you might like this game, because you have to fight and at the same time build your Tetris empire. Sadly, I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted but if you want to pass the time you might like this game.
Utterly broken and unplayable garbage. My rating 0/10, DO NOT BUY! Removed from account.
This game is fun, but not alot of content. I saw and played it at PAX East 2011 and was really excited for it. Like I said not alot of content, im not an avid gamer and I beat it in only a couple hours.
fun game
