This is a simulation resource management title, where you will build a tall city, while managing your resources at the same time. Playable in both PC and VR, you will be building various facilities, such as an office (of various sizes), residentials, parks, museums, school, hotel, restaurant, parks, everything to keep your occupants happy and satisfy their demand while racking in those cash to build more. control is intuitive in VR, and gameplay is easy. but resource management part is a little hard. There's also a sandbox mode where you can just build it whatever you want instead of following clearing missions for those coins.
Very different kind of city building game where you build the whole city into one skyscraper. You need to think more in 3D than on regular city building games where you build on more or less flat land. It's fun!
games awsome. theres a real lack of these kind of VR games. honestly i dont know why i had to search so hard for this one.... its pretty awsome and deserves a look. maybe the price is a little high for some? for me its fine, becuase i have played it enough to not matter. alot more than some triple A titles for sure. if its on sale, or if you like these kind of sims in VR (theres not many, this is definately one of the best and complete ones) then i could definately recommend it.
Recommended, but on sale. Only a few recoverable glitches here and there. can build VERY high. Have not unlocked everything yet, but can see a limitation after much more play. Very well done.
who develops a 32bit game in 2017?
Not Exactly SimTower Mixed feeling But I would give it a thumb up anyway because I got it for only $5 and enjoyed it for 4 hours, (full price for my region is $10). This game is more comparable to Project Highrise / Simplified SimTower in term of gameplay than the original SimTower + good art style + VR +/- very simple, you only need to care about the demand and services +/- Infrastructure planning is almost non-existence. Unlike SimTower, there is no need for stairs/elevator placement planning for efficient commute. One elevator shaft serves all the needs for your 20(or 100) stories high tower. - build 10 of building x to unlock building y style of progression (there is sandbox mode after you finished the game) - Very repetitive in the late game, nearly infinite money, brainlessly spam the (eco) buildings for the sustainability goal. - The gameplay is very shallow, i finished the tutorial, small starting map, and the big map in just 4 hours, low replayability. - Very annoying and frequent bug that prevent you from building/rotating or place your building in the wrong spot (that can be fixed by pressing back and trying again).
The game is fine, a casual city sim, bought it at a discount. The ui is fine, some menus and overall information displayed would need a revamp, some things are quite cconfusing....overall could be better. The gameplay is highly simplified but being a vr game it is perfect as is. Bugs, yes there are still bugs in it, and based on the timestamps on comunity discussion it might never see another update, that is quite sad because it doesn't really have a competition in its class of games, when it comes to vr games. The dev(s) should consider that this game has the potential to bring in some more players but it is a type of game that needs slow and steady growth. This is an lost underrated gem, a niche game, and for context I bought it based on youtube review done this year....
Build at Sky City and maintain it in a vertical fashion! It's like the Sim City but in VR and vertical! Very addicting gameplay so be aware! Lots of fun and a gem to play in the VR! https://youtu.be/n6otot_Bfj4
Really buggy for a game "made for" Oculus with HTC Vive Wands as controllers. The controlls are a mess and remind me of Fallout 4 VR. Does not seem like a lot of content for TWENTY DOLLARS. I am going to return this, this is a scam that I regret buying. Price either has to go down or quality and quantity to do has to go up.
Dude, why the ♥♥♥♥ is this like the only VR city-builder type game? Pretty good but there's not really enough here for a ton of engaging playtime. I have longed for a legit VR city builder since VR became a thing, why has nobody made one? I'd think that the people autistic enough to get a VR headset would have plenty of overlap with the people autistic enough to play strategy management game type ♥♥♥♥, but no games bro, no games. Many days I think about how epic it would be to walk through the city you made in VR, regular person sized or giant sized, but simply no games bro. Tragic.
