1) Turn on your playlist 2) Pick Jenna Ortega 3) Enjoy Okay, there's enough content to keep you stuck for a couple of hours. Although, given all the upgrades and characters, you can play for dozens of hours. I also like platform VS more than top down. I was killed by a huge moth (
People need to get this, it's very good in such early state. Can't wait for more stuff to come, get it folks! EDIT: Its a no for me now considering no communication from the developers and lack of updates. Real shame, I like the game. Will change if this changes but it seems like its abandoned Edit 2: got a sweet update! Hope the game continues to grow
These 5 bucks are defenitely worth it!
Fun and rewarding game that adds a couple of new things to the genre. This is still a horde survival game, but its movement has changed. This game is more like a platformer because you can only move left and right and jump. You may enable manual aiming to increase your involvement with the game. However, I still recommend that you use auto-aim because it makes the game run more smoothly. As always, most of the content is locked when you first start the game. You may later unlock four other characters and six weapons in addition to your beginning character and pistol. Each character may use any weapon and has distinct attributes that are visible straight away, allowing you to select the one that best matches your playstyle. There are several game modes where you need to survive for different amounts of time. You may choose between a basic roguelite experience, a lengthier deckbuilding mode with significantly more experience and upgrades, and a shorter bullet-hell mode with increased damage and speed. Defeating enemies fills up the experience bar, allowing you to select a new reward. The game is really generous, giving you a choice of six possible upgrades. Many of them are related to the four elements, so you may have random fireballs and lightning attacking enemies at random intervals. The rest improve your main weapon or add a new weapon that circles around you. The disadvantage of improving the primary weapon is that practically every new feature, such as piercing or bouncing rounds, reduces total damage. Each perk may be improved four times in total. The stage begins slowly since there isn't much to see. However, the longer you live, the more platforms appear, some of which may hold unique altars. Some items, such as health and gems that shoot at opponents for a limited time, can be used again after a short period of time. However, skill books that provide a free upgrade are occasionally found; you just need to stay near the alter for a few seconds or kill a number of enemies. Enemies are a combination of standard cannon fodder and elite units and bosses. These provide extra experience and a free skill with no negative consequences. For example, more bullets without causing less total damage. When you die or survive for the required number of minutes, you receive a bundle of gems that may be used to purchase permanent upgrades. A skill tree comes in four tiers, which means you must spend in the lowest tier to unlock the next. There's also something called darkness, which makes the game more difficult.
This one is a lot of fun. Keeps you in a certain area as you face hordes of enemies. Allowing you to unlock multiple guns and characters to use. Fast pace, a lot of options for builds. Three modes to play for what you prefer. I do find it quite easy even on the recommended mode (Which I feel is meant to be the hardest). I am one win away from capping the difficulty and find it very easy. Minus that, this is quite good and well polished. Certainly a game to look into if you're into the bullet heaven like games
There is not enough content, there have been no updates in months and the developers have other projects currently going on. I wish to recommend this title: in the galaxy of the "bullet heaven" games this platforming approach is fresh, the gameplay is enjoyable and the graphics are quite nice, but it's not worth the asking price. I will keep occasionally playing and I would love nothing more than to edit my review after an update, but until then I cannot give anything but a thumb down. EDIT: Witth the release there are more characters, options, weapons and the difficulty seems to be higher... Nice game, THUMBS UP
