Honestly I really want to be able to say that I recommend this game. But I really can't. I've only spent a few hours with it, and I think I'm going to continue to because I want to enjoy it. I wanna unlock everything and I wanna get good at it. What I can say is this: its basically the only fully 3D tycoon game about making and managing your own ski resort that I know of(that isn't in some sort of alpha or beta). That's basically all it has going for it. As for the problems. There are many. The game will crash for no apparent reason. In fact, the reason I'm writing this review is because it crashed upon loading one of the campaign missions. It kept giving me popups about "integer overflow" Weirdly enough these were popups using the game's popup frames, not those native to windows. It would play THAT noise on every popup, which was about 1 per second. Aside from the crashes, the game also suffers from issues with core game functionality. It's virtually impossible sometimes to get a slope to join with another, or even complete it at the bottom of a lift. In fact, trying to start a new slope, either at the top of a lift or part of the way through another slope can be just as difficult to pull off. Combine this with the other issues with this game, Including a campaign which has missions that REQUIRE you to unlock stuff from later missions, but are sprinkled in as "side missions" early on, buildings that you build always have their prices lower than what they should be for you to make any money, and several other minor issues and you'll find yourself wondering why its even listed for $9.99 on Steam. Overall, I'd say you're better off buying something else, maybe [url:https://store.steampowered.com/app/1124260/Snowtopia_Ski_Resort_Tycoon/]Snowtopia when it comes out? For now you could [url:https://www.playsnowtopia.com/]try the alpha
