The human skeletal system has for many years been perceived as off putting, nerve wracking, even frightening. "Skeletons, our internal structure, are meant to be hidden, which makes them spooky to see." ~Mahatma Gandhi. We often find ourselves backed into a corner due to our connection to fear and the bones in our body, take for example, a shiver down your spine. Despite all attempts to prove otherwise your spine is apart of your skeleton. Now take a minute to imagine yourself in the shoes of the layman. You're in a pitch black, moss covered cavern. You're guided by nothing but the sounds of the drips of some miscellaneous fluid off of the stalactites. And suddenly before you is a skellington, they take out two wooden doilies with little rubber balls on the end, and the inevitable occurs, they play their ribcage like a xylophone. How truly terrifying. But we do have to think about our own biases for a moment. Is it the funny bone boy that stands before you that invokes such fear, or the actions that he takes to drive the fear into you. At the end of the day. Skellies ain't scary.
Bite-sized kinda game, pretty difficult but still rather fun.
Skeletons do not invoke any sense of fear whatsoever; and moreover, in fact, are the namesake of a quality rougelike bullet-hell game.
this game contains a really cool gun
The experience was bone-chilling!
Skellies Ain't Scary is a charming game. I have yet to play more, since there were some errors in my first run, but the creator is good at communicating with their community and has rolled out a lot of bug fixes. The game has great value and the art style is pretty unique. I'm excited to play it again.
Very fun game. The creator is very cool too
This game was amazing! Although I had a hard time at first but after I got used to it I was able to see how fun it was.(P.S I'm still stuck at the first boss)
I was pleasantly surprised by Skellies Ain't Scary! Although I'm not typically a fan of bullet hell games, this one managed to capture my attention with its engaging gameplay and minimalist graphics. The deep dungeons and variety of guns and items made each run feel fresh and exciting, and I loved trying to build the strongest synergies to take down the bosses. Despite being challenging, I found myself coming back for more as I delved deeper into the dungeon and uncovered its secrets. Overall, Skellies Ain't Scary is a game that's definitely worth playing, even if you're not normally a fan of bullet hell rogue-likes.
Solid game play and very addictive. The minimal style really lets you sink your teeth into it without the visual clutter of some other bullet hell's. Every run I am always trying to do better than the last. Overall a new favorite of mine that I will be sure to keep playing!
