Skeletos Sword is a small-scale fantasy action game developed and published by Gamesforfarm, clearly built with a focus on straightforward combat, atmospheric exploration, and classic hack-and-slash sensibilities rather than large-budget spectacle or narrative complexity. From the outset, the game establishes itself as a modest indie experience, one that prioritizes hands-on swordplay and a moody undead setting over layered storytelling or expansive systems. It is the kind of game that wears its simplicity openly, asking players to engage with it on its own humble terms. The premise is intentionally minimal and archetypal. You take on the role of a lone warrior venturing into a cursed land overrun by skeletal enemies, driven by the promise of a powerful treasure known as the bowl of gold. The story exists mostly as a functional excuse to move the player from one hostile area to the next, with little in the way of dialogue, character development, or narrative twists. Rather than unfolding through scripted scenes or lore-heavy exposition, the game communicates its tone through environment and repetition, emphasizing isolation and danger as you push deeper into undead territory. Combat is the core of the experience and the primary reason to play Skeletos Sword. Battles are presented from a third-person perspective and revolve around basic melee sword attacks supplemented by occasional fire-based abilities. Timing, positioning, and awareness of enemy behavior are more important than complex combos or advanced mechanics. Skeleton enemies vary slightly in speed, durability, and attack patterns, requiring small tactical adjustments but rarely forcing the player to rethink their overall approach. The combat feels immediate and serviceable, though clearly limited by simple animations and fairly rudimentary enemy AI. As the game progresses, combat encounters begin to blur together due to the lack of mechanical evolution. While new enemy types appear from time to time, they are generally variations on the same skeletal theme rather than fundamentally different challenges. There is little in the way of meaningful progression beyond acquiring stronger weapons or improving damage output, which means the sense of growth comes more from player familiarity with the controls than from new gameplay systems. This can be satisfying in short bursts but risks becoming repetitive during longer play sessions. Exploration takes place across a single interconnected map that unfolds gradually as the player advances. The world is composed of gloomy fantasy environments such as graveyards, ruined structures, forests, and crypt-like spaces, all tied together by a consistent undead aesthetic. While the map is not large by modern standards, it does offer a handful of hidden paths, environmental hazards, and side areas that reward curiosity. Exploration feels purposeful and contained, avoiding the aimless wandering that sometimes plagues low-budget open environments. Visually, Skeletos Sword reflects its indie roots. Character models, textures, and animations are basic, occasionally stiff, and clearly built within tight constraints. However, the game succeeds in establishing atmosphere through lighting and color choices, leaning into dark tones, fog, and shadow to give the environments a sense of foreboding. Skeleton enemies, while not highly detailed, are readable and thematically consistent, reinforcing the game’s focus on undead combat without unnecessary visual clutter. The audio design is functional but understated. Sword clashes, enemy sounds, and fire effects provide adequate feedback during combat, while ambient audio helps reinforce the haunted fantasy setting. Music is present but rarely memorable, serving more as background mood-setting than as a driving emotional force. Like much of the game, the sound design does what it needs to do without attempting to stand out. One of the defining characteristics of Skeletos Sword is its honesty about scope. It does not attempt to overwhelm the player with systems, lore, or complex mechanics. Instead, it offers a loop of exploration and combat that is easy to understand and quick to engage with. This makes it accessible to players who enjoy simple action games or who are curious about indie fantasy titles without committing to something lengthy or demanding. That same simplicity, however, is also its greatest limitation. Players looking for deep combat systems, meaningful narrative progression, or varied gameplay mechanics may find the experience shallow. The lack of significant upgrades, enemy diversity, or mechanical twists means that the game relies heavily on its core loop to maintain interest, and that loop does not significantly evolve over time. Ultimately, Skeletos Sword is best viewed as a small, focused indie action game that delivers a straightforward fantasy combat experience against undead foes. It is not a polished or ambitious title, but it has a clear identity and a consistent tone. For players who enjoy uncomplicated hack-and-slash gameplay, atmospheric environments, and short-to-medium-length indie experiences, it offers a serviceable and occasionally enjoyable journey. For those seeking depth, refinement, or narrative ambition, it will likely feel more like a curiosity than a standout, but within its limited scope, Skeletos Sword delivers exactly what it sets out to do. Rating: 6/10

It's small soulslike game about exploring wide location with a few vertical levels. You can fight with sword or use 'range weapons' like classic bow or magic. At begginning enemy doesn't know about your presence so you have some tactical benifit to strike first, when it comes to fight they can break the distance between you so you can't shoot freely.
