A Difficult Platformer, Skattered Dream is a tribute to the classic games of the 80's. It may look dated but this little game that still could can pack a serious punch. Its not easy to survive in this world but boy is it fun!

Skattered Dream is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This shovelware platformer is a very basic bare bones platformer with ultra low fi pixel "art" that looks worse than what you might expect to see on an Atari 2600 (it's that bad and lazy). Gameplay is equally uninspired and badly polished... this is a train wreck amongst train wrecks. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Skattered Dream has a ridiculous price of around $5 USD for such lazy crapware, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam.

This game is Great! It starts out pretty slow but after a few levels can get pretty hard. 10/10 would recommend. good game for the price! I love the little hats that you get after each level! It would be nice to be told when you get one though. That's my only problem. Edit: The music is a little boring and gets old after a while. However, the mute button helps. ;)
(I haven't completed this game) PROS: This game is fun. The simple graphics have an 80's video game feel, and the puzzle aspect of it adds a lot of interesting game play. I see this game being fun to stream, make videos on or even speed run. CONS: One thing I find lacking is the audio experience. The music is basically just one track that gets very boring after a few minutes and the sound effects aren't anything to write home about. I think this game could benefit from something like having new music each level. CONCLUSION: This game is pretty fun and you should definitely check it out. The price is fairly steep, although if you are really into games like this it might be worth it. Have Fun!
Пару десятков смертей и я прошел первый уровень. Заняло минуты 3 =) Ну так, на любителя шустрых квадратиков...
The game is fun, and the developer is a nice guy :)
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
