THE WINDOW MAN making timber and aluminium bespoke window and doors since the 1990's in Adelaide, South Australia. Now also residing in simcompanies trying to save up to build a factory to build windows....but you don't let me make timber windows???? why not? alum windows are lovely - we make them - but timber is the real deal. great game, not enough window options. #thewindowmanSA on instagram
Had quite a bit of fun on this game about 2 years ago, was very active for 3 or 4 months. Decided to come back to the game but found out they delete accounts after 10 months of inactivity giving you only a week of notice to stop it from happening. This is completely unacceptable to me. I played for about 80 hours only to be forced to restart if I want to play again. It is a decent game but there is no reason in my mind for such a short account retention time. The game already isn't super populated, why would the devs kneecap the number of accounts like this? I will never know, but I will also never play the game again, so it doesn't really matter.

Terrible game with pay to win mechanics in the form of sim boosts. I see the same group of players in the chat always being unhelpful to new players and are the biggest bootlickers to this game where no criticism is allowed. Game also has most intrusive "anti-cheat" that monitors your private chats with other people and apparently mods can see what private notes you put on others vice versa. I find it ironic they label this game as "economic", "capitalist" and "simulation" or even "sandbox" when its the most restrictive game I've played. How are you going to label it as capitalism when the market is clearly extremely regulated by the developer and anything you do or advertise is also strictly controlled by the moderators in chat (spoiler, they love censoring and banning people like they're getting paid for a full time job). Theres tons of anti-competition mechanics which makes it lame and boring. You can tell what kind of players still want to play this game, they're just delusional people who think they're actually running a successful business and take it so seriously as if its a real business and they actually think they're the expert in their field LOL. The worst kind of players are those that willingly cash and give 80 bucks to support a game like this. Gee I wonder why this game has mixed reviews when the bootlickers claim this game to be the best ever. I think this game is more like a "yes-man" simulator.
Sim Companies is a great business management game for anyone who enjoys strategy without a huge time commitment. Production, trading, and expansion are deep enough to stay interesting, but the game doesn't require constant attention or endless grinding. You can make meaningful progress with just a few minutes of play throughout the day. The player-driven economy adds an extra layer of depth, and the slower pace makes it easy to fit into a busy schedule. A solid choice for fans of management sims who want something engaging but low-maintenance.
Free economic sim that can be as simple or deep as you want. Lots of stuff to do or automate your businesses and enjoy passive income. You can mix and match active and passive play or become an entirely cash-only holding company etc. Lots of options or you can chill, hangout, chat, and roleplay. Highly recommended.
It's free, but you get what you pay for. Not very engaging gameplay, as other reviewers have said. it is literally set up production of XX wait however many HOURS and then come back to check on the progress and see how much things have produced/sold for etc. it does not seem like there is a way to actually automate much of the game, so you have to manually log in every few hours and the juice isnt worth the squeeze so to speak. I like the concept, I just do not want to have to sink days into it to get further than planting and selling a few thousand oranges. If there was a way for it to be more active when you were online, I think it would be a better game. On the other hand if you only have a few minutes a day to check back on games maybe you'll like this game more than some others.
Boring
Your account gets deleted after too long of inactivity with only seven days notice.
