Hello, so i just spend some time in sideways and i got some stuff to add. 1. no modyfing controller controls as far as i know. i still didn't find the handbrake button xd 2. points counting - the game doesn't reward you till you make a 45 degree drift or even more, so by the time you get points you are at balance point in which you are easily loosing it. should be a multiplier that rewards you for a bigger angle drift. 3. the controls feel really laggy. like playing a newer NFS game on a keyboard tbh, so doing transitions is not easy - you are best when you let off the throttle and do a quick snap, which is still not easy to do, as narrow roads don't help much. i feel like there is no assist for controller, which makes you drift with wheels facing forward pretty much, you counter steer only to continue going forward. one way to fix it is to lower the gyno activation which helps a bit. 4. overall no bugs or smth like that, works great and doesn't lag or anything. 5. nice visuals, exactly as expected, so good job on that. Has a lot of potential but i feel like it needs a bit of work. Saying that it is not easy to drift is not a good way to overcome the steering issues. Ill be back when I get more playtime here. Cya

pretty cool game. its fun. very cozy
I’ve been having a great time with this game. If you’re into drifting, this game is defo worth checking out. And it works like charm on my SteamDeck. The first thing that stands out is the visual style. With a clean and unique art direction that gives every environment its own atmosphere. The drifting feels satisfying and rewarding. It’s easy enough to pick up, but there’s plenty of room to improve your technique and chase smoother, more stylish runs. Whether you’re trying to perfect a corner or just cruise around, the gameplay stays engaging. What I appreciate most is how relaxing the overall experience feels. The combination of the visuals, driving mechanics, and atmosphere makes it easy to lose track of time. If you enjoy arcade-style drifting with gorgeous visuals and a chill vibe, I’d definitely recommend giving Sideways a try. Looking forward to seeing how the game continues to evolve!
game is great, driving feels weird though. car breaks traction too easily when im just trying to set up for the next turn. the steering angle and sensitivity when not drifting sucks. sensitivity sliders would be great including a traction modifier.
1. Toyota matrix in game (ty devv :3) 2. 90's look 3. Pixelated like old cameras 4. DRIFT GAME ♥♥♥♥. yes.
