I liked the bizarre, trippy setting of the game and the fact that it has endless progression and infinite waves, but it still feels very unfinished.
pretty solid product, and for free nonetheless. give it a go, pretty addictive :)
im not even a hour in and i think this is a absolute gem of a game for free, the game is so fantastic i feel like i am robbing the developers for not even buying this. the movements feel absolutely amazing and the enemies are an actual challenge and i love the weapon variety and how the maps feel like multiplayer quake maps i cant even think of any cons this is a absolute gem of a random free indie game PLEASE play this amazing game
Sicko sanctum has robbed thousands of hours from me when it was in beta testing and now unfortunately its on steam now :( Now its going to rob my hours again and I already left my wife and kids what am i going to do
It is very-well built. It needs to go more towards claymation style, more varied OST, a bit of lore in order to know what are we even doing here, more enemies..and that's a personal choice, but I will go towards unlocking weapons every set of phases rather than having them all at the beginning, making choice buffs that much more important early game. Same goes for the total lack of feedback annihilating gun feel, I don't know if that's the right choice, but that's what you went with. Good luck !
A beautiful, kafkaesque, abstract portrayal of civil-war era United States. The message is extremely well hidden but is also very obvious when you read between the lines, giving you such an amazing euphoric feeling when you finally figure it out. "I have to return to the Sicko Sanctum" - Griffith Overall, an amazing remaster of a classic pick 3 roguelike, one of the pioneers of the genre in fact. Great work Jake, ill be waiting for Sicko Sanctum 3.
Big fan of the gameplay loop, ran great on my laptop. Like others have mentioned, I think the guns could feel a bit better to shoot. More maps and enemy variety would also be awesome, but I’m sure that’s already on the roadmap. I have yet to reach wave 100 and i am excited to do so!
