Gorgeous, inventive, and constantly surprising! The roguelike deckbuilder space feels very crowded these days so it's very refreshing to see a dev team genuinely innovating. This game oozes flavor and defies "oh, you just do this then this" quick mastery. 45 minutes in and I'm still on my first run and have already seen like 5 things that I need to come back and check on a subsequent run. Really looking forward to sinking my teeth into this one. Following along with the dev team's instagram and watching this game grown from nothing like it's namesake has been really fun!

Fun Fun Fun! As a roguelike enjoyer, I was hooked after the demo. Some cards are OP but that's part of the fun. Hoping for option for harder difficulties!
Fantastic game already! I've followed their progress and absolutely love the whole hand-drawn style; they've put so much time, love, attention and skill into it. The play style is very intuitive and satisfying, the carefull exploration combined with combat adds a refreshing dimension to the roguelike-deckbuilding genre. Great job so far and keep it up!
Played the 1st and 2nd demo, was so pleased with the game I only did one run each time the demo got updated so I can save my time until EA. Now with EA I'll be aiming for the 100% while trying to get the craziest builds going. - 2nd run I got a Mace up to 470 damage and the hot poker up to 120x3, I was having a blast! Highly recommend, the immersive 3d layered funky, trippy/colorful art style alone grabbed my attention but the dual deck gameplay mechanic got me hooked. Early impression: 8.6 / 10
This game is truly incredible. I love it.
Omnomnomnomnom
Shroom and Gloom answers the important question. “What if Slay the Spire had mushrooms, first-person dungeon crawling, and encouraged me to eat my enemies?” The two-deck system is genuinely clever, with one deck for combat and another for exploring and improving your cards. Being able to keep upgrading cards into increasingly ridiculous monstrosities makes putting together broken combos extremely satisfying. The hand-drawn art looks fantastic, the whole fungal nightmare world has tons of personality, and cooking defeated enemies into food and soup may be one of my favorite healing mechanics ever. Weird, creative, addictive, and exactly the kind of deckbuilder that makes “one more run” a blatant lie.
I like camp mechanics so much and the amosphere is amazing!
