About
- How to Play
This game cannot be played on its own.
To play, open a live video (e.g. YouTube) on the left half of your monitor, and run this game on the right half.
Align the frames carefully, then control Shibumaru using the WASD keys or your mouse.
You can find the live video on the Steam forums.
Where is everyone hanging out?
- Story
One day, a baby alien named Shibumaru crash-landed in the middle of Shibuya Scramble Crossing—one of the most famous intersections in the world.
Shibumaru is terrified of humans.
Your mission is to guide him to a safe place—away from humans.
- Behavior
Not much is known about Shibumaru’s biology.
He loves mouse cursors, and for some reason, he’s not afraid of white or gray humans.
Maybe they resemble the colors of his missing parents?
Sometimes he trips over nothing (which results in a game over).
But hey, he’s just a baby—please be gentle!

- Game Mechanics
Hit detection is based on color: everything except crosswalk white and road gray is considered a target.
In other words, Shibumaru might just slip right through people dressed in white or gray—oops!
Also, no AI is used for detection, so if you trip in an empty spot, it's not intentional (there’s no “falling” logic built in).
- Development Challenges
This game relies on color-based detection, which can behave very differently depending on your PC or display environment.
Older machines—and surprisingly, even some newer laptops—can reproduce colors in ways that drastically affect detection accuracy.
Fine-tuning the collision logic has been one of the hardest parts.
On the desktop PC used for development, everything works smoothly.
But on two different laptops I own, the character barely reacts to people—even when clearly colliding.
Please note that gameplay may vary depending on your system.

Ooh, OK! So back when, there were some music/rhythm games with the gimmick you could pop in your own music CDs, and play levels generated live from them. There hasn't really been any kind of equivalent for video that I'm aware of, until now. The gameplay here is simple; you have a little alien who can run round the window, and can only touch white and grey. Touch anything other than white or grey, and you die. The aim is to live as long as possible. The key is the way it gets the "level" is by duplicating what's on part of the left side of your monitor, the intent being you'll put on a Youtube video or live stream. Choose something like the famous Shibuya crossing, and you have your alien running around, trying to dodge pedestrians and cars and not crash into buildings. And, OK, look, there's obvious issues here... On the one side it's pretty hard to find videos showing enough constant white and gray to be playable while having enough moving elements to be interesting, let alone ones long enough to make sense to try, and on the other side it's easily cheesable by just searching for "white void 10 hours"... Or heck, just using Notepad... But that's on you, right? You can use whatever video or stream you want. (Here's a hint; the Abbey Road crossing is pretty difficult, but doable.) On the tech side, I think it would be a good idea to have user-configurable sizing and placement for both the game and video windows; on my 4K monitor, the game window is quite small, and getting the video placed correctly is probably more difficult than intended. It'd almost perhaps be a good idea to include a curated list of suggested feeds; click a link, and it opens your browser on the right video, ready to go. Anyway, yeah; look, this is gimmicky, but it's a neat gimmick, and I'm absolutely going to see how far I can get through Bad Apple before getting absolutely annihilated. Wish me luck!

bad game
I don't get what to do or if my computer is struggling to run it or there's a glitch or it's supposed to be like that. but yeah as of right now that's a no from me dog..
Soo, What IS Shibuya Bullet. Shibuya is more of a mechanic rather than a game or even in a way it's a smart challenge. At it's core Shibuya Bullet is exactly what it says IN the description. A tiny app, that when opened, shows you a special cursor, which detects two specific colors (and various shades of it), more specifically White and Grey. If your cursor is on the color. You stay alive. BUT You may ask, what's the point of the GAME? First of as I've mentioned it's more of a mechanic rather than a game. The app in itself doesnt have any challenge and for me who first opened it and has a full black wallpaper I would just die instantly every time not knowing what to do. Once I discovered the screen mimic mechanic, I started to put up different websites. I searched google for White Face to see if it detects it and yes, Tiny alien feels Cozy and happy around that place. (In fact I fell asleep when the app was opened with a picture of a white guy in white paint and In case you are wondering, if you stay alive in the game for at least 7 hours you get rank - GOD (I did it, so you dont have to) But having a cursor on a white guys face isn't a challenge in itself. And that's where the Game's Title comes in handy. I've decided to open up a youtube livestream of a Shibuya Crossroad and it all started. First of. It's amazing that a simple tool like that made me open up a random youtube livestream of a random crossroad in Japan and wonder. Why are there so many people there, why are so many people just randomly standing still on a street. And then I started to look for people with most White and Gray. A women on a sidewalk in a white skirt? I wonder what she's doing. You point an alien cursor on her and start to wonder, is she waiting for someone? Will she move? Who is she? How many points will I get? Because One VERY important mechanic that I forgot to tell you. After a special countdown 3..2..1.. when you start the game. YOU CAN NOT MOVE YOUR CURSOR. If you move it, you LOSE. And it that way this game becomes somewhat of your OWN challenge. Can I find and identify a person that's gonna stay just stay still and do nothing and let me tell you, from opening that one Livestream, Japanese people sure do like, just to stay still and do nothing. So this game is just a smiple mechanic. But if given a good idea it becomes a really unique challenge. Maybe open up a random street an India and try to mimic the same? Can you find someone with white clothes on that just sits still so your little alien stays alive? I dont know but it's a really awesome concept. SOMETIMES WHAT YOU NEED IS A GOOD IDEA AND AT ITS CORE SHIBUYA BULLET IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA FOR A SMALL CHALLENGE
What did I just play?
Plays like a fever dream. The Game makes no sense, the UI fights you, and half the time you’re not sure if you’re winning or hallucinating. Stylish chaos with zero clarity. Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (4/10)
разраб сынище шaлaвы eбaнoй
this game has changed my life. sidewalks mess me up, but other than that game is perfect.
