About
Shelves And Sorcery is a relaxing fantasy organization game about turning absolute chaos back into order.
Weapons, potions, spellbooks, fruits, vegetables, magical curiosities, and thousands of other items have been scattered throughout three fantasy shops. Pick everything up, find where it belongs, and slowly watch each shop return to the way it was meant to be.
Take your time and enjoy the satisfaction of putting everything in its place, or learn every corner of the shop and race against players around the world for the fastest time.
Choose from three shops of dramatically different sizes, each with its own setting, atmosphere, and challenge. Then return to them in four different modes, whether you want to relax, chase the fastest time, wield every bit of magic from the start, or organize without magic at all.
• Casual Mode – No timer and no pressure. Take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and organize every shelf at your own pace.
• Timed Mode – Race against the clock and compete on the global leaderboards. Learn where every item belongs, master your Sorceries and Enchantments, perfect your route, and keep pushing for a faster time.
• Archmage Mode – Start with every Sorcery and Enchantment already unlocked. Take on the entire shop at full magical strength and see just how powerful an experienced shopkeeper can be.
• No Magic Mode – The magic of the world has escaped. No Sorceries. No Enchantments. No magical shortcuts. Just you, thousands of misplaced items, and the knowledge you've gained along the way.
1,000+ items to organize
A cozy shop tucked away in the quiet village of Burg. Once a welcoming stop for locals and passing adventurers, its shelves have fallen into disarray. With 1,048 items to restore, it's a comfortable introduction to the satisfying world of organizing.
3,000+ items to organize
A well-loved shop in the bustling market town of Stonebridge, built through years of honest work by its humble merchant. With 3,085 misplaced items, restoring The Merchant's Rest offers a much larger challenge with plenty of shelves waiting to be put right.
4,000+ items to organize
High above the clouds on the floating isle of Vane stands a legendary shop filled with magical treasures from across the world. With 4,066 items scattered throughout, The Grand Athenaeum is the largest challenge of them all. Take your time restoring it, or master every shelf and chase the fastest time.
Thankfully, you don't have to organize thousands of magical objects entirely by hand.
As you make progress, unlock Sorceries designed to help you tackle the mess.
Gather matching items from around the shop, reveal objects you've been struggling to find, or use magic to send items toward the shelves where they belong.
The more you organize, the more powerful your magical toolkit becomes.
Magic isn't limited to spells.
Unlock Enchantments that permanently improve your abilities and change how you move through each shop.
Carry more items at once. Increase your reach. Move faster. Jump higher. Eventually, even take to the air.
Combined with your Sorceries, these abilities can turn an experienced shopkeeper into an organizing force of nature and become an important part of chasing faster times.
Whether you're carefully organizing The Hearth & Barrel after a long day, working your way through the thousands of items inside The Merchant's Rest, or fighting for a place on the leaderboard in The Grand Athenaeum, Shelves And Sorcery is built around one simple satisfaction:
Finding where something belongs...
and finally putting it there.

A very fun tidy up game, some of the levels are pretty challenging but are still fun to play. I enjoy looking for each item and getting them into the correct place. Looking forward to each development the game brings.

Very relaxing game! If you love to organize things and have a small touch of that OCD. This is perfect. 3 different shops to tend to. Small, Medium, and OMG its huge! Being able to click the harp and change the music is also a wonderful touch.
No, this ain't it. Librarian hit *just* the right spot, mostly because the books and their spines were easily distinguishable. Sorting the books individually by hand worked great and I feel the 'magical support system' was optional. Shelves and Sorcery uses assets of different sizes which makes sorting absolute hell. It's actually better to use the magical support system which defeats the entire purpose of this genre.
Feels like arcane library, but more items. The different sizes in this feels appropriate since it typically reduces how many go on the shelf.
If you try to decide between this and Tidy Up Together, I would recommend this one. Items are pretty the same, but here levels are more logical here. Or both :)
Playing this game while listening to audiobooks is the most relaxed I've felt in months. I love the theme & art style, but I especially love having the choice of different stores. I will definitely check out any game made by this developer.
One of the best organization games that have come out since the original. I might actually prefer it to tidy up the arcane library. The different colors and shapes are so fun to look at, with a variety of object types to sort and the shelf icons actually make sense. You cannot put the wrong thing on the wrong shelf (at least not in the first shop) but I don't really miss that. This is more of a sort and make a plan organization game instead of a decipher the map organization game.
Probably the best of the organizing games. Seriously. A lot of love and care has been put into it. The visuals and the sounds and the organization of the shop is absolutely wonderful. I don't even feel the urge to use any magic to sort items quicker becuse it's just that satisfying to find and pick out the items. THERE IS ALSO A HUGE VARIETY No double-shelves of items. Every slot is a different item variant and it's wonderful. It's so easy to organize and make look pretty. Things aren't just placed on the shelves identically either. There is slight rotation and placement differences. It doesn't seem like it mean much but it DOES. It changes everything, actually. The sound of plcaement is different depending on item type. The layouts are satisfying too! Very good, very fun! I am only half way through the medium-sized level and I already know I'll be craving more and larger stores later. Thanks for a great game!
Super fun! I love these games and this one is one of my favorites so far.
