About
Shelves And Sorcery is a relaxing fantasy organization game about turning absolute chaos back into order.
Weapons, potions, spellbooks, fruits, vegetables, magical curiosities, and thousands of other items have been scattered throughout three fantasy shops. Pick everything up, find where it belongs, and slowly watch each shop return to the way it was meant to be.
Take your time and enjoy the satisfaction of putting everything in its place, or learn every corner of the shop and race against players around the world for the fastest time.
Choose from three shops of dramatically different sizes, each with its own setting, atmosphere, and challenge. Then return to them in four different modes, whether you want to relax, chase the fastest time, wield every bit of magic from the start, or organize without magic at all.
• Casual Mode – No timer and no pressure. Take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and organize every shelf at your own pace.
• Timed Mode – Race against the clock and compete on the global leaderboards. Learn where every item belongs, master your Sorceries and Enchantments, perfect your route, and keep pushing for a faster time.
• Archmage Mode – Start with every Sorcery and Enchantment already unlocked. Take on the entire shop at full magical strength and see just how powerful an experienced shopkeeper can be.
• No Magic Mode – The magic of the world has escaped. No Sorceries. No Enchantments. No magical shortcuts. Just you, thousands of misplaced items, and the knowledge you've gained along the way.
1,000+ items to organize
A cozy shop tucked away in the quiet village of Burg. Once a welcoming stop for locals and passing adventurers, its shelves have fallen into disarray. With 1,048 items to restore, it's a comfortable introduction to the satisfying world of organizing.
3,000+ items to organize
A well-loved shop in the bustling market town of Stonebridge, built through years of honest work by its humble merchant. With 3,085 misplaced items, restoring The Merchant's Rest offers a much larger challenge with plenty of shelves waiting to be put right.
4,000+ items to organize
High above the clouds on the floating isle of Vane stands a legendary shop filled with magical treasures from across the world. With 4,066 items scattered throughout, The Grand Athenaeum is the largest challenge of them all. Take your time restoring it, or master every shelf and chase the fastest time.
Thankfully, you don't have to organize thousands of magical objects entirely by hand.
As you make progress, unlock Sorceries designed to help you tackle the mess.
Gather matching items from around the shop, reveal objects you've been struggling to find, or use magic to send items toward the shelves where they belong.
The more you organize, the more powerful your magical toolkit becomes.
Magic isn't limited to spells.
Unlock Enchantments that permanently improve your abilities and change how you move through each shop.
Carry more items at once. Increase your reach. Move faster. Jump higher. Eventually, even take to the air.
Combined with your Sorceries, these abilities can turn an experienced shopkeeper into an organizing force of nature and become an important part of chasing faster times.
Whether you're carefully organizing The Hearth & Barrel after a long day, working your way through the thousands of items inside The Merchant's Rest, or fighting for a place on the leaderboard in The Grand Athenaeum, Shelves And Sorcery is built around one simple satisfaction:
Finding where something belongs...
and finally putting it there.

One of the better options in the Librarian-style putting things away genre, seems like a side project by a dev working on a separate magical shop game. The plus side here is that there's a lot of nice looking fantasy objects to interact with - the swords and crystals and potions all look great and have nice flair. However, there's also a bunch of boring palette-swapped filler items like the berries, potatoes, and wool. In-hand inventory needs to be further upgradable, and the books need a redesign to not reuse covers, have colorful bindings, etc. The bows on the third level are difficult to differentiate when they're in hand. Adding rewards that unlock when you complete a section, and discoverable secrets would make this one of the best.
I absolutely loved this game. Organizing is fun and I've played Teddy's Haven which was made by the same person. It was fun organizing items I recognized from that game. I highly recommend this game.

The ingame music sounds like someone is having a wank in the background. Amazing!
So I've made it through the first two levels of this game, and I've really enjoyed it so far! There's a huge wave of tidying games coming out lately and this one is up there with the original Arcane Library, in my opinion. The fact that there ARE multiple levels is really nice, so depending on how much time you have, you can effectively choose your difficulty. There's a ton of creative and silly names (Minimalism: Even Less), and a good variety of items. Mechanics are easy to pick up and the controls are smooth. No performance issues in my playthroughs whatsoever, and it works great with a controller. A few feedback points that might improve it: - Music could use some work, the soundtrack is pretty repetitive. I don't think people play these games for the soundtrack (I typically have a movie or TV show on in the background and my music is muted) but it would just be nice. - I'm not sure how I feel about some of the objects being different sizes (or if this is intentional at all); it makes it harder to scan the piles if there's randomly a smaller version of the object than you're expecting. - Maybe I missed it, but a "reshuffle" button would be great - because there's no physics, objects don't fall or move around as you're picking things up, and it can be hard to find things hidden under other objects. Being able to "drop" the objects on the floor again would be really useful. And these are just tiny personal gripes, literally nitpicking LOL - In the second level, it is mildly infuriating that the thread is not in the same area as the wool and bundles of fabric/feathers/whatever it is. Swap the dragon scales with the thread! The thread is also near one of the dragon eggs, so it makes more sense. - In the first level, there are 5 red colored potions and 7 green colored potions. Blue and purple/pink both have a perfect 6 so they can be put on the shelves with like colors. I have to put a green potion on the red shelf and it drives me crazy. - Why is there so much jam! I will have jam nightmares! (totally kidding on this one) Overall a really enjoyable game with good replayability. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who likes putting things on shelves.
Love this tidy up game! The items are beautiful and the names are fun. Now playing Teddy's Haven and am pleased to already know a lot of the item names. I wish spending 15 hours cleaning my own house was as fun and relaxing.
Book here! Jam here! Where does this potion go? Right, over here! A+
Lots of fun. I love that there is three different levels. The different categories are nice too.
Simple concept but absolutely nails it. It tickles my brain to sort the things.
Highly reccomend, I'm on the third map in casual mode, it's so much fun! This map (4000+ items) is the first one I've used the powers on, for the others just being able to hold more was plenty. I'll keep playing, I hope there will be other maps! Organizing a dragon hoard for example would fit with this game and Teddy's haven so well!
amaziing love there is 3 shops n 4 modes for each
