I love that all the characters are back from the first game, plus the new ones. There's nothing that I dislike about the game, the only thing I wanted was more Five Deadly Venom characters . Especially the Toad.

YOOOOO I LOVE THIS GAME. It's a throw back to when I used to watch Kung Fu movies on TV Saturday mornings as a youth, when there was like only 13 channels available Haaha. Everything from the music, to the weapons, to the sound effects and the fighting styles are 100% on point!!! I still use snake style technique on my cat whenever he's in the mood to play fight lol. The first Shaolin vs Wutang is much better than this one and SvW 2 put together. If you could remaster the first Shaolin vs Wutang to load faster , plus all the menu sounds fixes it needs etc. Would attract more buyers.

Well, if you've played the games before this one, you pretty much know what to expect. except it's bigger and better now than part 1 and part 2. Buying this was a no brainer for me as I loved the games before. The Shaolin vs Wutang games are basically every oldschool action and martial arts flick fan's wet dream. You choose between over 40 (!) fighters and loads of beautiful stages which all just ooze this oldschool flair. Wanna recreate the final fight from Bloodsport or Kickboxer? This is your game. Or maybe the legendary meeting between Bruce Lee and Cuck Norris in the Colosseum? This is your game. Wanna make a tournament to see who's the strongest Shaw Bros character? This is your game. Wanna beat up every past action or kung fu star with Ip Man? This is your game. So forget Tekken or Street Fighter and buy this game! Especially because this is pretty much a one man operation and the dev deserves all the praise he can get for gifting us another gem of a fighting game.

Doing one quick arcade run using Wing Chun I noticed: - Greatly increased count of iconic architypes from Kung Fu and martial arts cinema ** The addition of Boxing, Muay Thai, along with "Street Fighting", plus some obscure 80s hong kong kung fu styles is AMAZING - Improved stage design with greater detail and interactivity - More fluid character and combo animations - Slightly improved hit detection - Expanded move set for returning fighters - Improved Settings options now with the ability to change various retro filtering effects - Higher detailed and resolution models, UI and stages - Improved music - Multiple outfits/looks for fighters - Character bios - Battle damage during combat - True super moves implemented with a super bar There is some slight input lag and I wish the animations ran at a higher frame rate, but this shows an amazing evolution of this series and looking forward to it continuing to improve with updates. -A recent update seemed to improve input lag and framerate for me. Bravo J Bowman, you've done it again!
