Shale Hill Secrets

This is it. 1) Complete game with an ending, no need to wait 10 years and X seasons to see the end. 2) Good story with surprises along the way. 3) Balances well serious moments and funny moments. 4) Lots of girls, all different and they're all great. 5) It does takes place in a college like a lot of AVNs but don't let that fool you, this isn't really the typical dumb college AVN. Its more like a mystery solving story. 6) Multiple different endings. 7) A lot of difference scenes and good balance between them. 8) Render quality is very high. 9) Scene quality is also fairly high, animation quality I would say is pretty average, I've seen better and I've seen worse. 10) Aside from the anime large eyes, girls bodies feel mostly realistic, I hate it when games make impossible bodies where about 1/3 of the girl's body weight is in her chest. Game has 17 chapters + extended ending which I haven't gone though yet and it took me around 49 hours so far, so there's a large amount of content to get through, I feel this is a very good amount for the price which is reasonable. All in all highly recommend.

In the 13 years I've had this steam account, i don't think I've ever left a review for any game.... I started getting into AVNs maybe in 2022ish, my roommate at the time put me on College Kings (great game btw). I started playing a TON of AVNs after that and I fell in love with the genre. Then one day I downloaded Shale Hill Secrets. Guys this game is one of the best AVNs I've ever played. I know a lot of people are saying this game has a ton of dialogue, which it does but i enjoyed the story so I didn't mind. The characters, the story, the twists and turns, i was hooked. played a few of the alternate endings too, which helped with my need for closure, the ending was good but the alternate endings left me satisfied for sure. Give this one a chance, takes a little while to get through but its worth it for sure :)

Absolutely amazing game! The story itself is pretty good and sometimes I almost felt the sex scenes got in the way of delving into the story (though the sex scenes are great too). I first tried the demo (which is really long at least it was back in september) and got absolutely hooked. It was also really refreshing to see a porn visual novel where you were neither a lowkey assaulting douchebag nor an incredibly popular jock with no brains, but instead just playing as a good guy (if you wanted that) who had actual ambitions in life. The world felt much more real than in most other games of the type I have played. Some other reviews mention a lot of dialogue and not a lot of sex early on, but I actually think it's one of the game's strengths. The game seems much more real BECAUSE the female characters around you don't just throw off all their clothes when they think you're coming. The fact that you need to build some form of relation with people like Leah makes the scenes all the more rewarding. Greatly recommend!

RECENTLY라는 이 폴더에는 사용자의 최신 이메일, 사진, 통화내용 자동으로 저장되고 있었죠. 엄청난 기능이었습니다. 이 기능을 악용하면, 범죄를 저지를 수도 있고, 정치인이나 기업인 같은 엘리트가 될 수도 있었죠. 주인공은 엄청난 힘을 가지게 됩니다. 하지만 그 힘을 가진 것은 주인공뿐만이 아니었죠. 주인공은 이 상황과 관련된 진실을 파헤치고자 합니다. 음성이 나오지 않아 수화 혹은 TTS 애플리케이션으로밖에 말하지 못하는 주인공을 배경으로 한 미스터리 비주얼 노벨입니다. 에피소드 구성이고, 스토리는 일직선 구조입니다. 7명의 히로인들과 애정을 쌓으며, 그녀들의 고충을 해결해주고, 진실을 파헤치며 엔딩으로 나아가면 되겠습니다. 꽤나 오래된 베테랑 개발자들이 제작한 작품입니다. Daughter for Dessert, Double Homework라는 작품 출시 후의 세 번째 작품이에요. 지금은 [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/3462900/Streaming_For_Love/]Streaming For Love[/url]라는 작품을 개발 중입니다. 다인으로 구성된 팀으로서 각자 스토리, 비주얼, 애니메이션, 음악 등 담당 전문 분야가 있습니다. 현재는 [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/2154330/The_Seven_Realms__Realm_1_Terran/]The Seven Realms[/url]를 개발 중인 Mr. Vargas라는 유명 3D Artist가 이 게임 개발에 참여했습니다. 그러다 보니 일러스트가 믿을만합니다. 이미지 스타일이 독특합니다. 흔히 볼 수 있는 Daz3D 캐릭터들 느낌은 아니에요. 히로인 전원이 슬렌더형 체형입니다. 마르고 아담한 캐릭터들 좋아하시면 취향에 맞는 게임이실 거에요. 게임 스타일도 독특합니다. 일본식 비주얼 노벨 생각하시면 될 것 같아요. 스탠딩 CG와 대화 위주로 풀어나가는 구성의 게임이요. H신 나올 때 제대로 된 일러스트가 나옵니다. 양이 진짜 매우 야무집니다. 느린 템포의 슬로우번 그 자체라고 볼 수 있어요. 총 17 에피소드로 구성되어 있는데, 에피소드 하나에 대충 3~4시간 분량이 나옵니다. 몇몇 에피소드는 5~6시간까지도 하는 것 같아요. 흠이라면 H신이 약간 아쉽습니다. 정적인 이미지는 훌륭하지만, 동적인 애니메이션은 조금 의아해요. 5년 전에 나온 야겜마냥 단순한 왕복 운동이에요. 약간 징그럽습니다. 차라리 애니메이션은 빼도 좋았을 것 같다는 생각도 드네요. 신음은 잘 섞여 있습니다. [h1] 결론은 평작과 명작 사이에 있는 작품이라고 생각합니다. [/h1] 제가 이 게임을 2025년 5월에 샀습니다. 물론 직장생활도 바빴고 중간마다 다른 게임도 하긴 했는데 클리어하는 데 1년이 걸렸네요. 2가지 해석이 될 것 같습니다. 1번은 양이 정말 많다는 뜻이고 2번은 계속 잡을 정도로 집중해서 할만한 게임은 아니라는 뜻도 되겠네요. 끝이 안 나는 에피소드에 살짝 지칠 때도 있었습니다. 모든 엔딩을 보는데 70시간 정도 걸렸습니다. 여담인데 [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/3302100/Shale_Hill_Secrets__Epilogues_Extended_Endings/]에필로그[/url]랑 [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/3302170/Shale_Hill_Secrets__Platinum_Extra_Scenes/]추가 신[/url] DLC도 팔아요. 이거까지 포함하면 100시간 정도 하지 않을까 싶네요. 장편 드라마를 본다는 생각을 하고 길게 접근하실 수 있는 분들에게 추천해 드릴게요.

It has ok looking scenes but having young anime-faced characters in this world is total miscast. They speak and act in an unrealistic robotic/formal manner and live as if they've been around for 40+ years. The story dialogue is boring and unnecessarily stretched out with way too much inner monologue that serves no purpose. Also, I strongly dislike there are 2 achievements locked behind paid DLC.

This game has a really long story, but it's so good and totally worth it. 10/10

This was by far the most immersive, entertaining, and intriguing adult visual novel I've played thus far, which says a great deal considering the vast range of this variety of games I have played. The story surpassed my expectations for what was possible for a gooner game to achieve. I will admit that there were points where I seriously questioned the viability of the story and some of the outcomes, but ultimately, the ending shocked me into finding this game great.
