Pretty good piece of interactive fiction presenting an intriguing new character in the universe of SotV and getting us to know a little more about another character you already know if you played the previous two episodes. The system is really functional, with lots of quality of life tools so you can freely explore this story. The writing is SO good and detailed, it has excellent timing and at some scenes you can really feel the struggle of our character. I really liked and left me totally excited for chapter 3!
A very short text-only game in the series. I've only played through once so far, there is a 'rewind' feature, so you can go back to previous choices later on. Probably only worth getting in the Shadows bundle.
BE WARNED: THIS IS MORE OF AN INTERACTIVE STORY THAN A "REAL" GAME ...but it's a very compelling and well written story. The text display system adds a lot to the atmosphere and I have never felt the need to accelerate the visualization. Also, I may be biased here 'cause I know the musician, but the OST is *chef kiss*. If I have to make a remark, I must say that it didn't leave me with the urge to see all the possible text variations. All in all very worth the money.
Dull, uninspiring and essentially pointless. The first two Shadow of the Vatican games were adequate point and clicks. This is a meandering interactive text that over focuses on the most cliched character in the games. I played through once 'not finding the truth' but couldn't care less what the 'truth' is supposed to be. Pity, I will probably still pick up part 3 as and when it emerges, but this has effectively done the opposite of whetting my appetite.
Evitatevi l'acquisto.
