I thought it would be fun to play on my YouTube channel, but I ended up dying and getting stuck in what seemed like an endless loop with no way to progress anymore. Most of my 3 hours of gameplay was spent in denial of the fact that I was softlocked. If it wasn't for that really annoying bug/feature/whatever happened to me, I could still recommend the game but it definitely wasn't something I'd pay for.

Shadowrain - TL;DR - Amazing game for this price. Story-wise it discusses interesting thoughts about AI, Evolution and Mankind. Gameplay brings a true hardcore challenge into the horror-puzzle genre with permadeath. BUT DON'T GIVE UP AFTER 1 TRY! Finish the game to enjoy the complex story to its fullest extent. ------------------------------------- First of all, this game brings up some pretty intense thinking material. If you ever finished SOMA or Deus Ex, the story in this game might intrigue you. For such a low price, the story exceeds every expectation I had. Secondly, the permadeath. IT'S A HASSLE BUT DON'T GIVE UP. Try again, keep maps of the levels (I used paint lol) and keep track of where you can find things to try again if you get softlocked through death. It had a good mix between intense puzzle & danger-dodging and story parts where you would argue with an AI about the meaning of all kinds of things. Played on Hard mode, regretting it 100 times but it did make the game a bit more spicy. All in all, they game really brings a new perspective with the fear of permadeath together with you, the AI, and the dangers lurking throughout the levels. Stay strong, keep trying if you get locked, the story really makes up for this somewhat hassle of an experience (though I didn't mind to work through the challenges and make it to the end). 8.5 / 10 - Greatly recommended!

For me it was boring, I couldn't find interest in the plot and the characters seemed insignificant.

Started playing this and have to say I am impressed. Love the style this goes with as I don't think there are enough cyberpunk horror in general. The controls are responsive so no arguments with that, atmosphere is great and is possibly one of the most unique games I have played in a while. This game will make you jump. It's a little easy to get lost, but it makes up for it with a compelling story, great art, and an overwhelming sense of dread. It's been a while since I've played, but I can still remember it vividly after taking a moment to revisit it. Keep up the good work!

Una historia y guion que ya hemos visto, nada del otro mundo. no quiero dar spoilers. pero también con cosas muy parecidas a los primeros resident evil... puzzles simples pero retadores. tu mejor amigo es la luz. y la luz depende de tus baterías. y las baterías se agotan. suena un poco a Outlast también... no puedes pelear. solo esconderte. Tomaron muchas cosas buenas de los juegos thriller y las metieron en un concepto retro-futurista (más retro que futurista) Lo mejor: Es un juego corto tiene buena historia aunque predecible tiene buen sonido Lo malo: Que no lo haya jugado casi nadie solo esta en inglés Sí sabés inglés y te gustan los juegos retro y de miedo...
