Shadow Warrior Classic (1997)

Shadow Warrior (1997) — яркий шутер от первого лица с грубым юмором, отсылками к поп-культуре и динамичным геймплеем. Графика эпохальная, атмосфера насыщенная: битвы с монстрами, головоломки и саркастичные диалоги персонажей. Игра сочетает азарт боев и ностальгию, но требует терпения к сложным уровням. Отличный выбор для фанатов 90-х.

Ignore the time played; I have played this all the way through multiple times, dozens of hours on it, just not on this platform. I played it on this shortly to test that it does run and didn't encounter any problems though I understand others have. Pros: fun and addictive game-play. Every weapon has uses and drawbacks so you never find yourself just straight up ignoring any of them; some of them are themed, so you get a sword and throwing stars. The sword is ridiculously powerful but also forces you to get right up in the face of any enemy you want to use it on so there's a cost benefit analysis there. The theming in general works quite well with enemies, locations and music, at making you feel like you're playing an East Asian action flick, similar to how Duke Nukem 3D felt like an American action sci-fi flick. The length is pretty good. Operating vehicles is enjoyable and not overused. Cons: quite intense racism against the East Asian people. Ultimately does not have that much to offer that isn't in one of its brethren; for example, if you're determined to play at least one of the two, but only one, I would definitely recommend Duke Nukem 3D over this. Strongly recommended

A good old bloody shooter that has everything you need: black humor, boobs, a good old meat grinder! It's hard to describe, you have to play it
