🎮 Gameplay & Genre “Gameplay” is a stretch. This is not a visual novel — it’s a shallow click-through gallery with barely-there branching. You choose a guy, you get two minutes of dull text, and then the game fades into forgettable nothing. It's the visual novel equivalent of junk mail: cheap, unwanted, and immediately trashed. 🔥 M/M Content This game has all the sensual energy of a wet paper towel. Despite the eggplant emoji in the title, there’s nothing spicy here. No buildup. No chemistry. No romance. No sex worth mentioning. It parades as an M/M game but delivers none of the intimacy, heat, or emotional payoff that M/M players actually want. It’s empty calories, and not even sweet ones. 🎨 Visuals & Style Lifeless. Bland. Uninspired. Characters are cookie-cutter mannequins with expressions frozen somewhere between “confused anime side character” and “I didn’t want to be in this game either.” You’ve seen this art style before — on dozens of cheap asset flips. There’s no love here, just Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V. 🗣️ Tone & Writing Tone-deaf and robotic. The writing swings between corny and outright lazy. Dialogue feels like it was generated by someone who’s never experienced love or queerness and thinks “Valentine’s Day” just means saying “hey” and undressing. It tries to be romantic, but it lands somewhere between sterile and unsettling. 👍 Best Thing It’s short. You’ll waste only about 15–20 minutes of your life before uninstalling. That’s assuming you don’t rage quit halfway through out of sheer embarrassment. 👎 Worst Thing The fact that this — this — is one of only two M/M games Octo Games has made out of nearly 50 titles on Steam, almost all of which are straight or lesbian content. It reeks of exploitation. This game wasn’t made for gay men; it was made to profit off them. Just like Gachi: Christmas Party, it’s performative, lazy, and deeply insulting. What’s worse? This cash grab doesn’t even have Limited status on Steam — it gets full visibility — while true M/M devs are buried by algorithmic neglect. It’s offensive that this hollow shell gets a spotlight while queer creators struggle for recognition. ⭐ Final Verdict This isn’t a gay Valentine. It’s a slap in the face wrapped in heart-shaped packaging. Sexy Valentine 🍆 💜 is nothing but low-effort, low-heart queerbaiting, created to pad a studio’s portfolio and milk niche tags for clicks. Do not give Octo Games your money or your time. This is everything wrong with queer rep in gaming—it's soulless, greedy, and devoid of sincerity.
