I really, really want to be able to recommend this game. The setting/mechanic is cool, the characters are diverse and interesting, and I was a Kickstarter backer. Unfortunately, I ran into what appears to be a not uncommon bug: every time I get to a character's ending phase and go to tell my aunt about it, the game freezes. There is no way to progress. This was first reported months ago and there's no fix; it doesn't happen to everybody and some people are able to play with no problem, but some are just stuck. I hope to be able to come back and revise this review more positively someday.
I backed this game on kickstarter, played it one time (didn't even make it through one route), then the next time I opened the game, it failed to progress beyond the starting screen (black screen with the spinning triangle.) I posted about it on here and sent the devs a message, they responded saying they would look into it, and I never heard from them again. That was over a year ago. Perhaps they shouldn't have released a game when they weren't at all prepared to do any follow-up work on it. I wish I could get my money back.

I really, really wanted to like this game. From the concept and art it seemed right up my alley - schools of magic? Cute LIs? LGBTQ+? But I was seriously disappointed. Pros: - Art. The art is great, it's a really good game to look at. - Charming LIs. I really wish you got more of a chance to spend time with them doing different stuff. - Intriguing worldbuilding. Original magic systems are so fun and this one seemed like it really had some potential. - Dialogue. Pretty good! Cons: - Wasted worldbuilding. This is my biggest complaint, along with the one below. It is such a letdown to play this game and be so excited about this interesting world and then you just... don't really get the chance to play with or enjoy or dig into the world at all. - Stories are SO short. Everything feels like it's much shorter than it should be. Just when you feel like you're getting into the swing of things, it's over. Totally unsatisfying. All in all, though I listed more pros than cons, the cons are huge and I can't recommend this game as it was so disappointing to play.
When I started playing the game I thought it was great but now that ive played through it I i can say it was a waste of my money, The game is full of bugs and glitches and the plot is non existant, would not recommed.
This is my very preliminary review, but since I have had this game at the top of my steam wishlist for months, I am super excited. The game started strong. I love Aunt Jean and the aesthetics are great! I love the characters so far and I can already tell I'm going to have a bunch of playthroughs. And heck! It is only $12? For a full visual novel? Awesome! (I'll write a more in-depth review later, after I've played through a few times, but already I would recommend this game!)
It was very promising idea for the game, but product turns out disappointing. Devs seems like dropped this project without any patches and bug fixes.
Seventh Circle is a pretty sweet game. I would have said it was definitely worth the price, however, there are a few currently unresolved bugs. Most are pretty standard, however one has stopped me from fully completing two routes - and I've heard from others that it affects even more.
This game is so fun, not to mention cute!!!
couldn't even get past a scene cuz of a bug SMH. never finished the game because i simply couldn't. i remember being charmed by the characters back in 2020, but wanted deeply to return and get my money back but couldn't. developers never responded either, and it doesn't look like they did or will in the future.
Im gay and I love urban fantasy so this game was great for me!! Though there were some glitches and I feel like each route could be longer, I genuinely enjoyed playing this game, and I got attached to the characters much quicker than I would in most other vn's. Definitely worth a play!! (also i'd let Adrian destroy me holy hell)
